In my mind any secular philosophical ethical theory becomes hedonism without making a big assumption: human life won't just end with the heat death of the universe. In the end literally none of this will matter if there is not an afterlife. An infinite afterlife.
Deleted youtube and haven't been asked to do something... what am I suppose to do with myself? I want to do something productive... but doesn't require any effort. Hrmmmmmmmm

Choose your own adventure style video game but it becomes the player vs the main character. So as the player chooses things the character thinks are wrong they start to resist the players choices.
Or maybe the player has super powers and it's like a superhero game or a high fantasy game and the player is a demon inside of the protag that can choose whether or not to let the protag use magic.
Oo oo! What if at the beginning of the game the protag is a blank slate and the player shapes their personality. So if you choose a bunch of good choices the protag becomes a good person, so when you suddenly throw in a "eat a kitten" the protag would resist and say no. And near the mid game if you switch from goodie goodie to full bady suddenly the protag recognizes the player as some kind of force inside of them. Trying to control and tell them what to do.
But if you control all their magic or superpowers the protag will be forced to make deals with the player. Negotiating the players help to complete their goal.
And think of the replay value? Like at the beginning of the game to setup the end game the replayer makes the protag do a bunch of random and seemingly stupid things; and eventually the protag recognizes the player as some kind of omniscient spirit and starts to trust it.
There could also be real gameplay beyond choices and quicktime events. The protag would have powers so you could make fun gameplay. Idk what kind though, maybe fighting game?
Maybe it becomes almost more of a movie as by the end of the game your protag is basically all grown up now. Maybe the gameplay wouldn't be fighting because your not actually directly controlling the player? Unless we go full superpowered evil side, where the protag gives up his agency to the player when fights come.
Lots of fun stuff. I'd probably play it. Especially if there were a lot of different diverging paths.
