There's something about simmer pots that makes me feel like I'm getting back to my roots in a way nothing else does. And it makes me miss home a little more than usual.

My ex girlfriend and I would make each other simmer pot blends. She would throw things together and just "This feels like witchcraft, so I thought of you."

Anyway. Making a little blessing blend.

Orange for joy

Rose for love

Lavender for peace

Allspice for luck

Bay for my wishes.

Purification Oil

As the title above suggests, this is an oil that's great for your purification needs. Dress candles, use it to draw cleansing sigils, etc.

Place your herbs in a jar and seal. Store them in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks to a month to infuse.

While preparing the oil, you can enhance the energies by making this more of a ritual. Light white candles as you focus your intentions. Charge the oil with crystals by placing crystals for cleansing on or around the jar while it infuses.

Having a non-witchy partner who supports your craft is fun. Doing a beauty ritual (hair mask and self-care thing) as a devotional act to Aphrodite, and my boyfriend joined me and let me do his hair as well. Just very sweet and precious.
