Awakening And Living As A Spirit "outside Looking In".

Awakening and living as a spirit "outside looking in".

There will come a time and day when a witch awakens into a new state of living. Be it advancing their craft, realizing their full potential, or elevating into what I call "spirit mode"

Now what do I mean by "spirit mode"? What I mean by that is instead of living as a spirit inside a human body experiencing humanity from the perspective of normality, a person instead unveils their spirit-self and gains a broader understanding of the world through the collective lived experiences of their past lives and their heightened intuition.

Sounds cool right? And there's more to this than what I just said. It's also easier to travel through different worlds either through meditation or daydreaming, and if you're advanced enough, you can travel to higher and lower realms without meditation or daydreaming but with a conscious desire to go there. There are also the multiple forms of magic you can master, spirits that see you as their equal because you are a living one, and so on and so forth.

It all sounds really cool and trust me, as a person that has gone through multiple awakenings and near death experiences, I can say it is really cool.

But like the yin and yang, there's a balance to everything. For all the cool things I've mentioned, there's also the bad and traumatic ones. Because if it's all too good to be true then even the non-magical folks would be pursuing it. But see, there's a catch to all the good stuff.

The first catch is you'll need to go through a worldview shattering epiphany, one where you'll drown so deep within epiphany after epiphany that the living world just doesn't make sense anymore before being bombarded with information from all the realms in existence. This chips away your sense of self as a person and everything you knew will almost be lost.

The second catch is that you'll go through what I call the "Lost phase". You will feel lost on Earth, where nothing makes sense in the way that it should when you were still living as a person inside looking out, because at this phase you're starting to become a person outside looking in.

And the third catch is that magic of any form, be it from raw and authentic magic in the workings of old religions to the more flexible approach of witchcraft in mainstream form, you start looking at the world through the lens of witchcraft and philosophical views. And also, you will start to question everything and might even go crazy in questioning the why and how's of the world.

You become a spirit lost in this world.

How to Avenge Yourself with Tarot

My grandma taught me never to draw first blood. But that if a soul hurts me maliciously, the old gods will consider my vengeance an act of self-love.

Step 1: State your case.

In a dim, quiet, private place… shuffle your cards, as you recount to them every detail of how you were cruelly injured. As if writing in a diary, divulge aloud your agony. Let your heart fill with ache. Let your body swell with rage.

Step 2: Choose the punishment.

When your pain and fury are at their peak… find the card in the deck that in your soul you believe to fit the misdeed.

Death: Serious illness

The Devil: Emotional abuse

The Tower: Sweeping chaos

The Moon: Damaging secrets revealed

Five of Wands: Friends turning foes

Seven of Wands: Crippling stress

Nine of Wands: Paranoia

Ten of Wands: Bone fractures

Five of Cups: Bouts of depression

Two of Swords: Significant errors in judgement

Three of Swords: Sudden loss of love

Five of Swords: Defeat in competitions

Eight of Swords: Mental or physical imprisonment

Nine of Swords: Insomnia and anxiety

Ten of Swords: Festering cuts and bruises

Knight of Swords: Physical and verbal abuse

Five of Pentacles: Financial ruin

Step 3: Decide the duration.

Find a second card in your deck. Remember that even the smallest cut left unchecked can lead to death. So unless it is warranted… be fair and be prudent.

Ace of Wands: A few days

Ace of Swords: A week

Ace of Cups: A month

Ace of Pentacles: A year

Step 4: Carry out the sentence.

Hold both cards in your hands, with the punishment on top, and the duration behind it, hidden in the back.

Gaze at the card… and with every fiber of your being, imagine it moving.

If it is the Knight of Swords, watch him gallop on his way to cut your oppressor in half. If it is Death, see your oppressor lying lifeless by the Reaper’s horse. If it is the Ten of Swords, let your oppressor take the place of the corpse in the card. Watch their back ooze with blood from every wound, gash and slash.

Step 5: Let it go.

Your raw vulnerability in admitting your injury has connected you to the higher power you have faith in, be that the Universe or a deity.

They have heard your appeal, which will soon be fulfilled. Offer them your gratitude in advance. Your wounds are now in good hands.

It could take days… weeks… even longer. It will happen once your oppressor believes they have gotten away with bruising you. At that moment, a colossal flame will engulf their contentment. And you will know in your heart that the debt has been collected.

I've felt like this as well. Actually, still am. But the only reason I'm not in a coven is because there isn't one in my area 😓

Don’t know if anyone can relate, but as a witch who loves socializing within the community and connecting deeply with other witches, the thought of dedicating myself to a coven has crossed my mind several times.

This is, of course, a reflection of an insecurity in belonging that I need to meditate and work through. However, the innate desire to be part of a community is so human that I almost can’t blame myself for having this thought often.

With that said, a coven is a huge responsibility. Is anyone in a coven currently (if you cannot share that’s perfectly fine) and if you are or are not, what is your reasoning for it? Do you think covens are more a thing of the past? Are you acquainted with a community of witches near you? Have you felt this feeling recently too?

Somewhere I saw a post that was like, "any state can turn blue if enough people vote."

This is very true. And with so much at stake here, you shouldn't assume that people won't turn out in droves to vote blue even in red states.

Project 2025/Agenda 47 isn't the kind of thing that normal, everyday Republicans actually want. Trumpers are a weird bunch. As we raise more awareness, your Republican swing voter types are going to be like, "hey uh, wait, this isn't what I want" and a lot of them are going to start eyeing Harris.

So even if you live in a red state, don't assume that your vote is meaningless. Do not. For one minute. Assume this.
