^ this is more of a headcanon than anything, but i find designs of watchers having no eyes or covered eyes being very ironic and funnily interesting lol

literally going insane over how loyal and kind impulse was until the fucking end and grian still only learned to be cold and have no mercy because it's all starting to look too much like something else he's already Been through. impulse followed him but didn't look to him for leadership the way others do. there was no Pressure when it was just the two of them and now he's GONE and grian didn't even let himself fucking GRIEVE because it's already too god damn much. attachments hurt. they just hurt

I will never not be endeared by Joel and Jimmy’s friendship in Empires. Joel can be a little blunt or disinterested in the other Empires at times but, when it comes to his allies, it’s very clear that Lizzie and Jimmy are always at the forefront. When he built the air balloons representing the Empires, he built Jimmy’s first and his, alongside Lizzie’s, were the biggest of the builds because they are close to him. He asks Jimmy to be forst his best man and then his hype man. He dies for Jimmy’s alliance, because Jimmy asked him to, and willingly dives into lava because of said bond later. He’s always there for Jimmy, and he always asks Jimmy to be there by his side.

He’s blunt with Jimmy as he is with everyone else and messes with him too, but where Jimmy is concerned there is always that undercurrent of “this is my person and they are my friend. Watch out.” Jimmy was his very first alliance and Joel took “we could be best buds” to heart.

Yes yes new characters being sympathetic about c!Dream is understandable yes it’s also annoying. Can we get a character that is hellbent on being #shields-for-c!Tommy for once. Can we get a character that is so annoyingly a c!Tommy apologist to combat this wave.
