Request: Hey, can u write an imagine or hc about being ada's bff and going to polly's, meeting michael??? He falls in love w her and takes her on a date and to a family meeting were he presents her as his girl

➳ When you met Ada, you were 16 and even if she was already 22, you understood each other so well and if you weren’t straight, you would probably fall in love with this woman. Now, you’re her best friend for 6 years and you only met Tommy when he broke into her house, to see if she was doing well. So yep, you never met the others Shelby in Polly’s house until that day. Ada absolutely wanted you to meet her brothers, her cousin and her aunt.

➳ At the beginning, even if they were nice to you, because Ada trusted you with her whole heart, you were so shy. For you to relax, John and Arthur had in mind to make you laugh with their best puns and jokes, and it worked. Even Polly chatted with you like you belonged to this family. To summarize, it was really nice.

➳ But there was Michael, you couldn’t help but blushed every time you met his gaze. He was handsome, well-mannered and a bit mysterious. So, at the end of the day, when he asked you on a date while all of his family members were doing something, you were surprised. Then, you gladly accepted, wanting to know him.

➳ Asking Ada for help to choose your clothes, hairstyle and makeup for your date. She was almost as excited as you were and she openly hoped you would become a real family member, like Mrs. Gray, which made you blush because it was so soon!

➳ Michael was hot as always.

➳ Him gaping when he saw you before he managed to compliment you:

“Wow… You’re incredibly beautiful, Y/N.”

➳ Taking you to a fancy restaurant, the kind where you had never stepped before. You were completely amazed. The food was excellent, at the top of the gastronomy.

➳ Michael couldn’t stop looking at you when he had the chance to. He found you so beautiful, intelligent and he loved when you were shy, he thought it was cute.

➳ His heart was beating like crazy and poor boy; he didn’t understand immediately what was happening to him. Then, he remembered what people told him, what if feels like to fall in love. At this moment, he knew he was falling so hard for you.

➳ At the end of the diner, he couldn’t resist you and your desirable lips. He gathered his courage, taking your hand in his, caressing your flushed cheek and he kissed you, putting all his love in the kiss. Then, he asked you to be his girlfriend and you only could accept, otherwise you would be crazy!

➳ You were in a relationship for two months, keeping it a secret, before you decided to reveal the truth to the Shelby’s, except Ada who knew because you couldn’t hide it to her.

➳ There was a family meeting between the Shelby’s, but Michael insisted for you to come because it was the best occasion to tell them. So you entered Thomas’s manor hand in hand and when they saw you, hands intertwined, you had nothing to explain. They congratulated the two of you.

“When is the wedding?” asked Ada to tease you a bit before taking you in her arms, whispering in your ear “Aw, you grow up too fast, my Y/N!” which made you laugh.

To the anon who requested this: I know it’s super short and I’m so sorry, but you’re right, I’m not familiarized with the Puerto Rican life and culture. However, I liked to doing research, I learnt nice things aha! :) I hope you won’t be too disappointed ♡ (+ I tried my best with the Spanish I’m learning for almost six years.)

➳Having a huge culture shock between you two since you’re Puerto Rican and he’s Scandinavian/Asgardian.

➳ You liked the heat and hated the cold; unfortunately it was the opposite of Loki.

➳ Teaching him the customs of your country and he didn’t understand the importance of the quinceañero, even if you explained to him, with the origins of the celebration, that it mark the entry into adult life for young women. “¡Eres realmente estúpido! ¡¿O lo haces a propósito?!” you yelled when he started making fun of you and the celebration, then you smacked him behind the head.

“Ouch!”

➳ Trying to teach him to cook traditional dishes such as Pastelón, Chicharrones de pollo and the Habichuelas Guisadas. You were pretty happy that Loki enjoyed the cooking of your country (and even if he didn’t, you would have cooked exclusively Puerto Ricans dishes to make him love it! Mean? No…)

➳  Telling him the story of Puerto Rico and the great men that the island housed, like Rafael Cordero aka the father of public education of Puerto Rico, but also the pre-Columbian era, the Spanish conquest, slavery and the problem of identity of the country.  In exchange, he tells you everything he knows about Asgard.

➳Telling about the cinema and the literature because you knew he loooooved reading. So, he hastened to read the works of ancient authors like Alejandro Tapia y Rivera or less ancient ones like Enrique Laguerre Vélez.

➳ Learning Spanish for you and so, obviously, you’re the one who taught him.

“¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? Me llama Loki, soy el dios de la travesura y… Soy un viejo abuelo. Vivo en Nueva York con mi novia, ella es la mejor cocinera…Y me gusta leer y engañar a la gente.” You made him repeat after you as you tried to not laugh at the “viejo abuelo” part.

“What is making you laugh?” he asked.

➳ Explaining him some Puerto Rican habits:

- All the moms who yelled "¡Vas a coger gusanos!” at their kids if they’re not wearing shoes.

- Most of the Puerto Rican households are decorated with colorful masks of these folkloric characters called vejigante.

- In this island, you avoid Tuesday the 13th, not Friday unlike other countries.

- You have to learn how to make pasteles/sofrito/pastelitos from scratch because there is a kind of rite of passage.

➳ Trying to make him dance the salsa, but it became a disaster: He looked more like a stranded whale when he was dancing salsa than anything else.

“Soon, I will know how to dance better than you!”

Tbh, I don’t know... Since I saw your message, I’m thinking about it, but the truth is... In general, I’m so bad at writing second volume even for my own books. So I’m afraid a second part for this imagine would suck :(

But I will think about it again when I won’t have as many requests as now. ;)
