书 vs. 本子 – Books

Another little differences I was taught by Yoyo this week!

书 / 書 / shū / book; full-length

本子 / běn zi / book; short, a few pages

Examples:

书 = novellas/novels, textbooks, dictionaries

本子 = menus (菜谱 and 菜单), notebooks

螺髻九十九里 - ( Luó jì jiǔshíjiǔlǐ )

四川省凉山彝族自治州普格县境内景点 - ( Sìchuān shěng liángshān yízú zìzhìzhōu pǔ gé xiàn jìngnèi jǐngdiǎn )

螺髻九十九里 luo-ji-jiu-shi-jiu-li, hot spring waterfall, liangshan, sichuan province.
