“Come in.” Steve answered as he heard knocking on his bedroom door. He had just gotten out of the shower and was looking for a shirt to put on.

“Hey” Y/n said softly from behind him as she shut the door to give them some privacy.

“Hey, Sweetheart.” Steve smiled as he turned to face her after pulling his shirt over his head. He feels relieved that she came to him since he couldn’t find her earlier. Steve was getting very worried since it’s not like her to run off after a mission.

“How you feeling?” she asked him nervously. Her body lounge giving her away, playing with her fingers and not looking at him.

Steve smiled reassuringly nodded “A lot better.”

Y/n shook her head and scoffed before lifting her head to look at him. “Please, don’t lie to me.”

“I’m not, I promise. I’m still in some discomfort and pain but I’m doing a lot better. Already almost healed.” he told her even lifting his shirt to show her that he was healing and fast due to the supersoldier serum.

“I’m so sorry, Steve.” Y/n whimpered

“Hey, hey what do you mean sorry?” Steve rushed over to stand in front of her, cupping her face with his left hand and pulling her to him in a tight hug.

“If it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t have gotten hurt.” Y/n cried into his chest, as he rubbed her up and down her back. Trying to soothe her.

Steve shook his head he couldn’t believe she was blaming herself for what happened. “What? What are you talking about? Y/n, me getting shot was in no way your fault.” He does the same thing, him and Bucky. Blame themselves because they believe they could have or should have done something. Steve knows she’s done this before, just like them. But he thought it was clear that what happened on the mission was an accident.

Y/n pulled away, out of his embrace shaking her head. “But if I would have-”

“If you would have tried to save me from getting shot, you would have gotten shot too.” Steve stated strongly. He looked her in the eyes so she’d get that there was no room for blame. Especially not on herself. Steve sighed moving both his hands to her face, one stroking her hair the other gently resting on the side of her face. “Y/n, you could never hurt me, just remember that.”

Y/n looked him in the eyes and nodded biting her lip. Deep down she knows and knew it was never her fault, what happened happened. “I’m sorry.” she apologized

“You have nothing to be sorry for.” Steve pulled her back into a hug, whispering to her. Its gonna take a while to get her to believe him on the facts of what happened but he’ll gladly take the time to do so.

Jared Leto is gonna play the Joker again!!!!

I some people didn't like it cause they liked the old Joker better but I loved the way he portrayed him amd I love how they wrote and designed him. If Joker was real then he would have been a gangster. Its the logical way he would have everything that he had in the comics. I also love that they took into account the comics like example with the metal teeth. I loved it and I can not wait to see him reprise his role.

Summary: After a mission that had a bad outcome, y/n feels shes to blame even though there’s nothing she could have done. Bucky comes to try and comfort her, and to get her to confront Steve on why she hid as soon as they got back to the tower.

Authors Note: Kinda sad how the reader blames herself, but this is my first Imagine that I would actually put angsty in the warnings.

I used either 1 or 2 prompts I honestly don’t remember. I think it was 2 but I changed a couple of words in the second one. Here are the ones that I used and changed somewhat.

Bucky sighed before knocking on the bedroom door, knowing Y/n would come to sulk and hide in the comfort of her own room after what happened on the mission. “Y/n, it’s me. Bucky.”

“Come in.” Y/n called after a moment of silence. Bucky opened the door and stepped into her room closing it after he entered. “Hey, Buck.” Y/n greeted but there was a slight strain in her voice. Which he detected immediately.

“Don’t do that Y/n. Not with me. . .please.” Bucky shook his head, he knows her better than she thinks. He’s not gonna fall for her bullshit, its obvious she’s not ok.

“Do what?” Y/n asked him, playing dumb. Bucky tilted his head to the side abd raised his eyebrows. His look screamed ‘Really? You really think that’ll work with me?’. Y/n dropped her gaze down. “Sorry.”

“Can I sit?” Bucky asked walking over towards where she’s seated on her bed.

Y/n nodded ‘yes’, moving to make some more room for the supersoldier. “Yeah, go ahead.”

Bucky took a seat next to her. They just sat in silence for a while, neither starting the inevitable conversation. Y/n would be completely comfortable if she could change the subject she knows Buckys gonna bring up, but it does need to be done. She knows that. Bucky sighed before speaking “He doesn’t blame you Y/n/n. No one does.”

“Well, they should.” Y/n grumbled softly.

Bucky shook his head reaching for her hand, turning his body to face her. “No, they shouldn’t. . .Y/n you have got to know there wasn’t another way. NOt without jeopardizing the mission.”

Y/n shook her head not agreeing with him. “I should’ve done something Bucky! I shouldn’t hav- I shouldn’t have just let him get shot!” she snapped with her voice cracking.

“Y/n! You couldn’t have done anything!” Bucky exclaimed loudly trying to get her to understand.

“He almost died, and it would have been my fault.” Y/n let out a whimper at her thoughts being put into words. The realization of the fact what she just said was true. At least in her eyes. She couldn’t hold in her tears anymore and let them fall.

“Y/n/n” Buck spoke softly it’s hard for him to see her like this. It hurts. Bucky knows if something were to happen to anyone on the team and Y/n felt she could’ve stopped it she’d blame herself. “Doll, listen. Come here.” he opened his arms for her. Y/n very quickly glanced at him knowing what he wants but she looked away again. Y/n doesn’t feel like she deserves his comfort, even Bucky can tell that. Buck reached out to wipe her tears with his thumbs. Reluctantly Y/n let Bucky pull her into a tight hug. “There is absolutely nothing you could have done. Steve is fine. He’ll heal. The serum will make it heal even faster. Steve is gonna be fine doll. Hell, he’s already back in his room.” Bucky stated rocking her gently to calm and comfort her.

She shook her head “He won’t want to see me.”

Bucky sighed “Doll, you, me, and Steve all have one quality that’s exactly the same. An that’s the fact anything we can take and carry the blame for anything and everything as if it is our own. Y/n, Steve loves you. He was asking for you last time I checked. No one knew where you went after the mission.”

“You did” Y/n pointed out

Bucky gave a half-smile not that she could see since he’s resting his chin on top of her head. “Well, besides Steve, you and I have grown close since I’ve been here. I figured you would be here putting all the blame on yourself.”

“You were right.” They both chuckled

They hugged for a little longer before Bucky unwrapped his arms from around her. He stood up from the bed looking down at her with a smile. “Come on”

“Where are you taking me?” Y/n asked confused as Bucky pulled her to stand up.

“To your bathroom to clean you up, then I’m taking you to see Steve.” he spoke dragging her towards her bathroom.

“Ok” she sighed following him now willingly to clean herself up, having not done that right after the mission and since she has been crying also.

Also I dedicate this Imagine to my dog (that became my grandmas dog cause she stole her from me) Zoey that we had to put to sleep for medical reasons there was no helping her sadly. I wrote this while waiting in the parking lot to hear what was wrong with her and just as I finished it my mom came out and told me I had to come in and say goodbye ( I wasn’t in there because with the stupid virus only 1 person was allowed in with the dog in the vet, the only reason my mom and grandma went in is cause my grandma can’t walk on her own). “Lee, give it back!” Elle yelled while chasing Lee around the pool deck. Everything was all good till Lee got bored and decided to mess with Elle to entertain himself. Apparently stealing her towel worked.

“Run Lee! Run!” Y/n laughed cheering on her friend as she watched the scene unfold in front of her. Truthfully it was entertaining her as well.

“Lee! Give me my towel!” Elle screamed getting annoyed at him and his antics.

Lee snorted “No way!”

Elle sighed “Y/n, a little help here.”

Y/n tilted her head and let out a huff of breath pretending to think about it. “I don’t know, what’s in it for me?”

“Oh, the satisfaction of hurling out your friend.” Elle stated as if it was the obvious reason.

Y/n let out a groan before sighing and turning her attention towards Lee. “Fine. Lee please give her back the towel.” Just to be dramatic about it, but subtly.

Lee stopped and turned to face Y/n where she was currently sitting sideways on the pool chair. “So, what now your on her side?”

Y/n raised her hands up in surrender, shaking her head in a ‘no’ motion. “I’m not on either side of you twos. If anything I’m on the side of your mom. Do you really think she wants all the floors wet?” Y/n raised an eyebrow at him as she recalled what happened once before.

“You should know by now, Lee.” Noah spoke as he came out from the house walking over towards where Y/n is in the backyard. Noah kissed her cheek before continuing. “Y/n doesn’t take sides.”

Elle walked over to stand by Lee as he handed her her towel. Elle turned to face the couple and snarked to the older Flynn. “She’s taken your side before.”

Noah smirked at what Elle had stated before replying. “She’s my girlfriend.”

Lee scoffed at his brother shaking his head at the ridiculous answer. “So that means she has to take your side?”

“Yes.” Noah stated giving a slight nod. To Noah that was pretty obvious.

“Look I know neither of you have had a relationship before, but when your with someone you really care about. That you trust and believe, you take their side.” Y/n explained or at least tried to explain to her best friends. But by the looks on their faces, they still didn’t understand.

“Your both gross.” Lee and Elle said at the same time before they both turned and headed inside the house. Pretending to gag at Y/n and Noah as they disappeared.

“They won’t get it till they fall in love like us.” Noah whispered in Y/n’s ear as he bent down to lean closer to his sitting girlfriend.

“I’ll never get tired of hearing the Noah Flynn say he’s in love.” Y/n smiled lovingly towards him, teasing him a bit.

“Yeah, well. I’m only in love with you so. . .Don’t expect anyone else to hear it.” Noah scoffed not caring that she was teasing him, hell he’s teasing her back but at the same time being completely serious.

“I don’t want anyone else to hear it. So no complaining on my part.” Y/n shoved him a little when he said what he said. She knows he was joking but it was still nice to hear. The fact that he was very serious about their relationship, that was something that would always be nice to hear.

“Hey, Y/n/n, were going to make snacks and play some video games. You gonna join?” Lee asked sticking his head out the sliding glass door.

“Nah, I’m good.” Y/n shook her head, but smiled at the younger Flynn.

“Come on Lee. You know their gonna go upstairs and makeout.” Elle teased coming up behind Lee in the doorway.

Y/n smirked up at Noah before turning back to her best friends. “You know Elle, one day your going to get a boyfriend and Lee your going get a girlfriend and your both gonna do the same things we do.”

Noah laughed genuinely at what came out of his girl’s mouth. “Then you’ll be the hypocrite.”

Elle and Lee looked at each other and then looked back at the couple. “Doubt it.” They said before they shut the door and went off to go do as they said before.

“Oh, I can’t wait to bug them once they find someone.” Noah groaned.

“Me too.” Y/n smiled back mischievously
