“Why are we going to this thing again?” I asked Kol as he got out of bed and put on his boxers

“Because you my Darling, have never met my family and I think tonight is perfect. They’ll be to busy looking good for the poor people of this town so they don’t suspect anything that's to come. And they won’t have much time to question us or at least much- That reminds me, make sure to wear the ring I gave you when we started dating. It has vervain on and in it so they won’t be able to compel you.” he told me cupping my face with a look of concern. I looked him in the eye’s before nodding knowing he had a point.

“Are you planning on making a spectacle?” I looked at him with a smirk appearing on the corner of my lips. He just started laughing, knowing him that's most likely a yes.

“I would love to. But it depends if my mother is watching me 24/7 or if there's free time.” he answered

“Your mother?” I asked considering last he told me she died a thousand years ago

“Yeah Darling, she's back from the dead.”

I just leaned back and laid on my bed. I am a little afraid to meet him I mean they are Originals. Kol swept me off my feet but I’ve known him for years.

“You need to get dressed and ready we don’t want to show up to late” he says entering the room grabbing my hands and pulling me to the bathroom.

“Big house. How long do we have to stay?” I asked looking up at him

“Not the whole night, maybe an hour or two. Them we can go home and have a party of our own” he smirked down at me biting his bottom lip.

“Ah brother, finally you show up and with a date no less” judging by how he’s dressed dressy but yet casual too, so I’m guessing Klaus

“Lovely to meet you Miss…?” asked a nicely dressed, like suit and tie nice, so assuming he’s Elijah.

“Y/l/n. Y/f/n Y/l/n.” I answered as Kol moved his arm around my waist, tightly.

“My lovely girlfriend,” pulling me closer ‘if possible’

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, both of you,” Klaus said bringing my hand up to his lips and kissing it

“The pleasures all mine” I replied

“Ah, so this is who you never shut up about” a blonde girl said I imagine it being Rebekah or as Kol calls her ‘Bekah’.

“And I’m guessing that's Finn and your Mother.” I pointed up at the balcony

“Yeah,” Kol said, grabbing 2 flutes of whatever they are serving

“How did you know?” Elijah asked squinting his eyes

“Kol said he is a bit of a mommas pet” I said before taking a flute from Kol and taking a sip

“You are a keeper” Rebekah spoke before leaving to probably find Matt

“I agree” Klaus said with a smirk before turning and leaving to talk to other guests.

“Well your siblings like me, how do you feel about that?” I asked him tipping my head to the side.

“I think I feel the night is accomplished. So let's go home and have our own little party like I suggested earlier” he said while grabbing my hips pulling me close as possible to him. I couldn’t help but giggle and nod ‘yes’.

I love working at Lukes cafe. Although it only got better when his nephew Jess moved into town. Luke having known me, my sister and mom since well forever. It was easy to work with him. When Jess got to town and Luke told him he had to help out in the cafe, he was not happy at all but he had to help out when I was there.

(flashback)

“Uncle Luke” Jess said obviously annoyed

“I told you it’s Mr.Luke to you! Now, why don’t you actually help, fill drinks up, take orders something” Luke said irritated before turning and handing my order. As I walked over to Kirk giving him his order.

I could feel eyes on me as I walked over and back.

“and what's your name?” he asked me leaning on the counter looking at me with a curious smile

“y/n and your Jess” I said cleaning the counter around him, wiping it down

“So you know who I am?” he asked in a cocky tone as if I’m supposed to be impressed

“I’ve known Luke for what seems like forever he talks and vents. I knew you were coming to town” I told him turning to look him in the eyes.

(end flashback)

We had a weird back and forth banter for a couple of weeks in the beginning. But after a month in a half Jess asked me out I thought he was joking but when I realized he was serious I stuttered but I did agree to go on a date with him. One date leads to another and so on and so on.

And now here we are 9 months later still together. The only thing that is a problem is we can’t let my mom know. Or anyone in town because gossip is like wildfire in Stars Hollow.

Luke knows from the beginning because he figured it out when Jess asked questions about me.

Rory, she caught us one time when we were coming home from a date. We never had dates in Stars Hollow. That way no one could find out and tell my mom.

Lorelai Gilmore that is my mom. Ever since Jess came to town she has not liked him. Its more of a passionate hate really. In fact, no one in the whole town had liked Jess since he came here. They haven’t even given him a chance. She hates Jess, like I said, with a passion. If she found out I was dating him I would be dead and so would he.

Although honestly I’m shocked that she hasn’t found out. Jess kisses me not so secretly in the cafe all the time, Sometimes it's not even discrete. I spend some nights with him in his new room above Lukes, and sometimes he even sneaks into my room and spends the night at mine. (perk of a deepening sleeping Lorelai)

And it was all good until a week ago. It was a normal day, a normal shift. I was drawing behind the counter, sitting on a stool. There were only 2 customers in the place at the moment. Luke was counting money from the register and Jess was reading next to me with his arm around my waist, we thought it was safe, pretty much no one around and we were so close it just looked like his arm was on his leg, and plus we were behind the bar.

But apparently, we didn’t hide it that well that time. Because when my mom and Rory walked in everything came crashing down.

( flashback )

The bell rang as 2 people ventured through the door. As Jess and me, looked up to see it was my mom and sister. Jess started to move his arm from around my waist, making it look like he is stretching. But apparently, my mom got to the counter to fast and saw. Of course, we knew we couldn’t hide it forever but I loved to think I could.   

“Uh - what is this?” she said with a weary tone

“Mom-” I started but got cut off

“Don’t mom me. I want to know what I just saw” I could tell she was gonna start fuming

“Lorelai, just let us explain-” Luke tried getting her to calm down considering she was starting a scene

“Explain what?! Huh?! Wait you-you knew about this?!” she said raising her voice

“Mom let them explain before-” Rory tried getting her to see reason but was cut off

“Before what? And of course, you knew to right? Does the whole town know?!” Mom said pointing outside

“No, only Luke and Rory know.” I tried getting her to understand

“Oh, so you just didn’t want me to know is that it?” she said more as a statement

“We-e wanted t-to-” I stuttered out

“But?!” She exclaimed

“But we were afraid you would react exactly like this.” Jess said to her tightening his hold on my hand trying to comfort me through this

“Damn right I act like this. . . How long has this” pointing between, me and Jess “been going on between the two of you?” looking between us, her face practically red and steam coming out her ears.

“9 months” Jess said confidently standing up from his stool

“When did it start?” Mom asked in an angry toned voice

“A month an half after he got to town” I stated standing in-between Luke and Jess

“You’ve been together since then and for that long. Did you ever plan on telling me?” she asked but any answer I give I know she would not like.

“Yes, it's just-”

“What? It's just what?”

“They have been trying to find a way to tell you Lorelai” Luke said trying to help us out

“Your not the easiest to talk to all the time mom” Rory stated

“Well if you can’t tell me thing’s or trust me with stuff than maybe you shouldn’t live with me anymore.” Mom blattered out but didn’t look sorry

“What?- Mom!”I gasped out

“Mom you can’t be serious,” Rory said looking at moms face trying to see if it was a joke

“Yeah Lorelai, that is a little extreme don’t ya think?” Luke put a hand on my shoulder

“Well, it’s true.” Mom said grabbing her purse moving towards the door

“But mom-” I couldn’t believe what was happening.

“No, it’s final. You can come get some stuff from the house later” she stated before leaving

Jess pulled me into him wrapping his arm that wasn’t holding my hand, around my shoulders. Whispering that it was all going to be alright that I still had him and etc…

(end of flashback)

That was a week ago. Since then mom hasn’t even entered Lukes’.

After everything that went down that day Rory still comes by and she went to get my stuff that day. Jess and Luke didn’t think it would be a good idea for me to go and I agreed. Luke told me I could stay with him and Jess till my mom cooled down enough to talk.

And if she didn’t when dad (Christopher) gets back from his trip I could move in with him. The day after the fight, I called my dad and told him what happened he wanted to come back home early but I told him it was ok and that I had a place to stay.

“Hey mom” I said answering the hologram

“Hey sweetheart, I got to ask a favor of you” she said

“Shoot” I said sitting down in the pilots seat of my J-Type 327 Nubian royal Starship.

“I need you to pick up one of my pilots. His X-Wing crashed on Christophsis. It’ll be him and his droid.”

“Yeah I’m actually near Christophsis so I’ll pick him up and meet you at D’Qar.”

“Thank you sweetie see you soon” she said before ending the call.

See I was coming back from getting supplies from Coruscant. I haven’t seen my mom in person in years, calls all the time but I’ve been recruiting people for the Resistance also supplies for them to; Ships, parts, droids, etc. . .

I got to Christophsis, looking around for person and droid that my mom described. Suddenly I felt something bump into my leg, turning around I looked down to see a little BB-8 unit. He started beeping excitedly then it hit me it was the little BB-8 unit I use to fix up and play pranks on people with.

“BB! Oh My-” I kneeled down.

He started beeping excitedly and talking to me when a tall dark haired, handsome man walked up right behind him.

“BB-8 we don’t just run into people. I’m sorry, I don’t know what got into him.” the handsome stranger said

“No problem I actually know BB here. And I believe I’m your ride off of this rock.” I smirked up at him

“What?” he asked confused

“You crashed here, I was sent to pick you and BB up. Granted at the time I didn’t know the droid was BB here but that was a pleasant surprise. . . Ok you still look confused General Organa sent me.” I told him

“General Organa sent you?! Thank the stars” he exclaimed, and I couldn’t help but giggle.

“Yeah, lets leave. The sooner we leave the sooner we got to D’Qar, And you two back to the Resistance.” I told them making a motion for them to follow  me towards my ship.

BB-8 started rolling straight onto my ship and the pilot followed behind me. Once we got on I shut the door and pushed the button for the landing pad to close. Walking over to the pilots seat I sat down and put in the coordinates to D´Qar and started to get us in the air. Once we got into space I put us in hyperspace.

“Ok so do-do you work with the Resistance?“ he asked, that's when I noticed he was seated in the co-pilots seat.

“Uh, yeah. I usually get  supplies, smuggler when needed. “ I smirked in his direction

“You know I never got your name?“

“Thats because I didn't give it to you“ I told him stifling a giggle

“I´m Poe Dameron Resistance pilot. Seems you already know BB-8 here.“ He told me pointing to himself then to BB.

“Well short version my mom really trust me with stuff thatś why I´m in a lot of stuff thats off records and I'm trusted with a lot of classified information.“ I told him getting up to check system controls before we get any closer.

“Your mom. Wait whos your mom?“ he asked turning to look at me.

“Leia, well I guess to you its General Leia Organa.“ I said moving back to the pilot chair. Were coming out of hyperspace soon.“

I looked over to him he looked at me jaw dropped eyes poping out of his head, he looked dumbfounded

“Are you ok there?“ I asked glancing over to him

“General Organa has a daughter?!“ he exclaimed shocked, well more shocked then before

“Yeah, Leia and Han, mom and dad, General Organa and General Solo. They had twins, me and Ben.“ my voice flattering at the memory of my brother

“General Organa never talks about a daughter and Ive never met or seen you before?“ he said

“I - uh , haven't seen her in person in years just calls. So this will be interesting.“ ?I said trying to keep my voice steady

For the next hour or so we got to know each other and we even started flirting together. It's strange I think Iḿ getting feelings for him. I have never had feelings for anyone, crap. What do I do? Does he feel the same? I mean he's flirting back and I have been making him blush.

As we come out of hyperspace and I landed the ship next to some X-Wing. As soon as I opened the door and the ramp touched the floor BB zoomed out and Poe and I started walking off the ship.

“BB-8 nice to have you back. And you Commander Dameron.“ General Organa said before pausing as I poked out from behind Poe

“Hey mom, long time no -“ I squealed when Poe pushed me into the arms of my mother.

“It's great to have you back“ she said into my hair before kissing my head

“I missed you mom“ ?I told her wrapping my arms around her tight

“I missed you to sweetie“ she said, before we pulled away

I stepped back, she looked towards Poe

“I'm gonna need a full report in about a hour, Commander Dameron.“ she said to him, and he nodded. “We'll  catch up later.“ she told me before walking away.

“So I bet your a really busy person Commander so I´ll see you around I guess“ I said awkwardly before I started to turn but then he grabbed my bicep turning me around. I raised my eyebrows at him.

“I was wondering could we - uh - if your gonna stay around awhile, maybe we - uh - could go on a date or hang out sometime?“ he asked in a stuttering mess.

“I get the feeling you don't do this often and that your normally really confident“ i smiled at his nervous face “yeah I would like that“

“Great!“ he said before kissing my cheek and off he went to give a report.

I was so delighted when I unlocked my door. All I could think about at school was coming home, avoiding homework and talking to my new found ghostly friend Tate. I have been living at the famous Murder House for about 2 and a half months. Tate told me everything he did after 3 weeks after moving in. He didn’t know what he was doing because he did cocaine, he was getting back at his mom, plus you can tell he regrets and feels bad about it. I didn’t care about his past I care about now.

“Where were you?” Tate asked coming up behind me in the kitchen wrapping his arms securely around my torso. I closed the fridge after grabbing a can of y/f/s. I turned in his arms looking at him with adoration.

“The horrible hell hole they call school” I chuckled before looking at his face more closely. I could tell he was a combination of fearful, scared, and alarmed. I could tell something was off with him. Then it clicked he thought I wasn’t coming back. His eyes had terms starting to form in them.

“Hey, hey, hey, school is mandatory.As much as I don’t like going I have to, but I wouldn’t just up and leave you. Ok?” I stated cupping his face in between y hands, using my thumbs rubbing lightly back and forth on his cheekbones. I couldn’t be anymore fond of this boy. “Come on, lets go hang out in our room.” grabbing his hand and tugging him along with me up the stairs.

I like to refer to it as ‘our’ room when it’s just us because it was his first.

Once we got to our room I shut the door. Then he was the one pulling me. He jerked me over towards my bed and yanked me down on top of him. We started laughing really hard. Once the laughing died down we ended up just gazing into each others eyes I love his deep brown eyes, they are the most captivating brown eyes I’ve ever seen.

We sat criss-cross from each other on the bed, he started fiddling with my hands.

“Are you afraid of anything?” he asked out of the blue. I thought about it for a moment I’m not afraid of much but I’m not gonna rule out everything.

“I wouldn’t say I’m not afraid of anything but I am not afraid of most things.” I responded looking up from our hands. There isn’t much that I think we haven’t told each other. He’s like my only real friend, people suck.

“I will protect you from everything. Even when your not afraid of whatever's there. Promise.” he proclaimed nonchalantly.

“Your so full of shit” I mumbled looking down again. But he extended his hand up and lifted my chin up to get me to look him in the eyes.

“No, no I promise. I’m serious,I promise nothing will get you as long as I’m around. I mean it.” he stated looking me in the eyes sternly so I know he’s telling me the honest truth.

After that you nodded ‘yes’ understanding what he meant and said. After that he ushered me to lay down with him. He opened his leg’s and I layed down laying against his chest. Our legs tangled together and his arms enveloping me in his warmth with love and care.

We eventually fell asleep like that, after moving the comforter around us.
