Yancy

Yancy has a soft spot for small animals, any sort of tiny creature no matter what kind

Possums, raccoons, bunnies, puppies, kitties, doesn't matter 

Loves to knit, during his time in prison he picked up a couple of new hobbies to pass the time

He’s also surprisingly good at cooking, he spent some time doing kitchen duty so he was able to pick up some tricks and tips from chef

Very touched starved hasn’t been held since he was a little kid and though he’ll never ask he really could just use a hug from someone 

Loves warm weather throughout his time in prison he’s grown used to the cold night in his cell so when it warms up he  finds himself sleeping easier 

Isn’t a big sports guy believe it or not

Very shy about any sort of physical affection he's worried he's going to hurt someone with his strength, and he doesn't want to hurt more people  

More of a cat person, likes the big fluffy cats especially

One thing he's always wanted to try, was roller skating the idea of skating on wheels just sounds so enchanting to him for some reason 

He definitely ate bugs as a kid, look me in the eyes and tell me he didn’t 

Crashed his bike when he was younger several times

Illinois

Mama’s boy all the way

His mother was the only one who raised him growing up so he learned quite a lot from her 

Very respectful he was taught to never judge people from the outside for any sort of reason, he really only judges based on character

Another man who can cook well, his Mom taught him how when he was younger and while growing up he would help his Mom prepare meals 

Had a cocker spaniel growing up named Tucker

He kinda just gives random like nicknames to anyone he meets, like sweet little nicknames 

Mostly ‘Darling, Sugar, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, Sweet-pea, etc.’ 

Hates cold weather with a passion, he’s used to it don’t get me wrong adventuring out with nothing but a sleeping bag he's definitely adjusted he’s just not a big fan

Probably grew up on a farm of some sort 

Has always really enjoyed farm animals, Cows, Sheep, Pigs etc. 

They remind him of home 

Hates bugs especially spiders 

Loves hiking though hes basically adventuring all the time any way he dose enjoy hiking, to him it’s like a adventure with less stress

Spree headcannons

A/n: So I saw Spree this weekend and I love this pathetic man so heres something for all the Spree fans out there

Kurt Kunkle x gn Reader

When you first start dating him he’s incredibly awkward 

Whenever you try to hold his hand or hug him he just goes completely stiff 

He likes to pretend he knows how relationships work and act confident around 

Though that fails as soon as you lay a finger on him, show him any sort of physical affection he turns into a sputtering mess 

He’s not confident enough to initiate any sort of affection with you so you’ll have to be the one who gives most of the affection 

That is until he’s comfortable enough to, which will take awhile 

But once he is confident enough, he will become so clingy 24/7 

He’s really sweaty though, so cuddling with him might get a slight bit uncomfortable 

Takes you on late night drives while blasting whatever music you want to listen too

Driving at 2am for junk food is a common occurrence with Kurt

Or he’ll let you sleep in while he sneaks off to the gas station and return with a mountain of chips and candy in his arms 

Loves to watch movies with you, it’s a lame excuse to be close to you but he’ll take it 

He tries to flirt but he ends up getting really awkward and just backs out of whatever he was trying to do

His face gets so red from embarrassment, especially if you flirt back with him he has no idea how to respond

My guy loves to cup your face randomly and press soft kisses all over your face while he softly giggles to himself 

Though he has no idea how, he loves to roller skate with you even though he ends up with his face slammed into the pavement 

It’s worth it if he manages to make you laugh 

He loves to have you on his live streams, while his chat spams ‘simp’ 

While he games he likes to have you sit on his lap 

Though it might not be as comfortable when he rages and throws his controller on the ground 

He likes to have you wear his hoodies, he melts when he sees you waddling around in them it brings a smile to his face knowing that you love him enough to wear his clothes

You didn’t think that you would end up curled up beneath your comforters, trying to desperately silence the sobs that wracked your body. Your shaky hand gripped your chest, trying to keep the feeling of your chest tightening at bay.

Your head throbbed, as the stream of tears flowed down your face, they rolled down your cheeks until mixing into the saliva that had escaped the corners of your mouth as well. 

Cheeks flushed a crimson red from the tears welling up in your eyes, you felt your eyes dry up almost as if it was a sign that you’d run out of tears to cry, as your breathing began to slow becoming shallow. You laid in bed expressionless staring blankly at the wall. 

But as you let your mind begin to process everything new thoughts begin to flow into your conscious mind, your eyes begin to become glossy, fresh tears escaping from the corners of your bloodshot eyes.

You hastily wiped them away as you threw your puffy covers off your curled up figure.

Groaning you rolled over blindly knocking things off your desk as you tried to find your phone amongst the papers and school assignments. Your eyes squinted as you cringed at the painfully bright screen.

As your eyes adjusted you felt your stomach begin to twist up in knots as you saw the dozens of texts and missed calls you had gotten from Leo. Feeling your lip start to quiver, you quickly placed your phone down. 

Today you’d actually confessed to Leo. You and Leo had gotten along great since the first time meeting through April. Connecting with someone new can be awkward sometimes, especially if you're not really sure how to keep the conversation moving, but meeting Leo was like talking with an old friend. He always had a new topic to talk about or a witty reply that had led you two into some friendly bickering. 

You became partners in crime pretty much away. You’d fallen for LEo instantly, how could you not? His confidence, his wit, his flirty nature towards you that had always managed to sweep you off your feet.

And over the course of your friendship you had thought that Leo had felt the same. He’d always blow you air kisses when he had to leave you. Or when he’d always find some sort of excuse to hold your hand or how it seemed he’d always save the best pick up lines especially for you. 

So who could blame you for assuming he likes you too? Well apparently so. 

You had ask him to meet you at your favorite hangout spot. And you’d poured your heart out to him, face flushed, as a sweet smile crossed your features, as you looked at the ground too embarrassed to meet his gaze as you fiddled with your fingers. But your confession was met with silence.

“Y/n…” as soon as your name left his mouth you knew something was wrong. Your head snapped up to be met with Leo’ shocked expression, but it wasn’t the kind you’d hoped to see, his face was twisted into an expression of bafflement and…guilt?

You blinked, stepping back from Leo as he tried to articulate the words he wanted to say. You felt as though you’d just been punched in the gut. Why did he look so guilty? He felt the same way, right? 

“Listen I…I’m flattered but - how do I say this?” Leo grimaced looking away doing everything to avoid your gaze. The guilt is already tearing him apart from the inside. 

“I don’t feel the same way. Don’t get me wrong! You're an amazing friend but I just don’t think of you like that.” 

Your mind had gone blank and it seemed as though all the butterflies had escaped your stomach leaving nothing more than a gaping hole. You clenched your fist, feeling a sudden rush of adrenaline pass through your body. Why was he apologizing? Didn’t he get this as humiliating as it was. You didn’t need his pity. 

“I’ve just never thought of you that way.” 

But hearing that phrase is what sent you over the edge. 

“You’ve never seen me that way?” your voice came out shaking, cracked like broken glass. It was evident in the way you spoke that you were breaking.

“Not even when you held my hand? Or when you blew me kisses goodbye? Or when you’d snuggle up to me on the couch when we watched movies together? Really? That whole time I was just a friend?!” you yelled finally challenging him with a glare you held on your face. Leo's face contorted into one of guilt as he looked back into your glossy eyes glaring straight through him. 

“Listen, I - I didn’t think it would mean anything. I was just messing around.” 

As soon as those words left his mouth he knew he had fucked up, as your angry exspression melted into one of beytral, that he would even think to play with your heart like that, someone you thought you could trust. 

You went still gaze shifting to the ground, going completely silent, Leo almost wished you would scream at him. 

“If that’s all I ever was then maybe we shouldn’t be friends.” 

Leo froze, he wanted to argue, to fight back but his body wouldn’t let him, he stood frozen as you slipped through his fingers like sand.

“Goodbye Leonardo.” You were gone, the single best person he’d ever met, gone, and it was his fault.

Saw your ask was open so could I request how each rise boi would react to gn dinosaur yokia reader ? Like say allosaurus or spino . And maybe how they would bond with the reader ? Also hope your having a good day and love your writing btw.

Donnie 

He and his brothers had bumped into you in the hidden city 

There was a street market being held downtown and they happened to come across your booth

Donnie was absolutely ecstatic when he saw you! 

Though he tries to play it cool you don’t miss the way his eye light up when he sees you

Be prepared to answer a flood of questions

He's already a super curious person so naturally he has a ton of questions for you 

Do forgive him if he accidentally oversteps some boundaries, he just gets caught u in his excitement  

Donnie's seen ton of different mutants in the hidden city and even just mutants like meat sweats that tend to keep around New York

But he’s never seen any kind of Dinosaur mutant

So naturally he’s pretty stoked 

He wants to study you and learn all about you in his lab which yes he realizes that sounds very incriminating, but it's for science 

He won’t do anything your uncomfortable with though 

But after having you around for so long he’ll start to grow attached to you 

He’ll genuinely enjoy having you around which isn’t something he’ll ever tell you face to face 

Likes to have you test his latest inventions and help him out with experiments

Though ‘helping’ out will just be you sitting off to the sides and watching him work while occasionally handing him things 

Eventually he'll trust you enough to actually help him out with experiments and get involved

Likes to invite you over late at night so he’ll have company while hes working on a project 

Leo 

Leo came across you while on his way to the basketball court

None of his brothers were interested in being beaten by him him basketball ad having him rub it in their faces, so Leo was off on his own 

He was originally planning on practicing some dribbling on his own since he couldn't really play against anyone

That was until he met you

He was you playing on the court and he has to admit he was impressed by your skills

You were quick and you seemed to be able to dribble flawlessly easily keeping up speed as you ran

You were already pretty tall so that probably gave you an advantage anyways 

Leo was determined to play you if he could win against someone that fast and twice his size than it would totally justify his bragging

So you know he walks up to you all smug asking if you wanted to play him in a couple of rounds 

Long story short Leo got his ass whooped by you 

But he actually took it surprising well 

He was already impressed with your skills before but dudes pretty much whipped at this point

So after hanging out with you for a couple of hours he invited you over to the lair hoping to introduce you to his brothers  

Dude loves to skate with you mostly because you fall off a lot ad he gets a laugh out of it and because he can easily show you up when skating 

But also likes to show you all the cool tricks he can do on his board 

He loves to talk to you about all of his comics and even lets you borrow them to read if you ask him nicely 

Raph

Was introduced to you by one of his brothers 

He thought it was awesome that you were a dinosaur yokai! 

I feel like Raph had a dinosaur obsessed phase when he was little so he's pretty excited when he first sees you

I mean he wouldn’t have judged you anyway, I mean he’s a mutant turtle after all

Dude would definitely ask you to train when his brothers aren’t in the mood 

Will invite you to workout with him on a regular basis if you're up for it! Really just appreciates having someone to keep him company while he trains

Definitely admires how strong you are and would ask you for tips on how to get that strong

Offers you some tips as well if you asked him as well

Asks you to tag along on missions and thinks you make a great addition to the team!

Becomes super protective of you even though you literally tower above him

He knows that you're fully capable of protecting yourself but he can’t help but worry sometimes 

I mean he worries about everyone its just in his nature to be a little overprotective 

Will invite you over for Jupiter Jim movie marathons 

Will also probably ask you some questions about yourself that might be a little too personal but he swears he doesn't ever mean to overstep any boundaries with you he's just curious

You and him definitely have a secret handshake with him

Mikey

If you thought Donnie was excited wait till you see Mikey

He practically explodes from excitement when he sees you he is all over you in a matter of seconds 

Thinks you look really cool, and instantly asks you to model so he can draw you 

Loves to draw all sorts of weird stuff and you just so happen to be the perfect kind of weird for a drawing of his

Of course he gives it to you when he's finished it’s kind of like a peace offering 

Will invite to over to stay the night very often

Will make pillow forts with you and watch Baxter stock boy’s horror videos he needs someone to cling to while he shakes in fear

Please don’t ever show him a real horror movie poor boy would cease to exist even if it's  really badly made like the first jaws movie

It doesn't matter he’ll get paranoid about evil sharks for weeks 

Likes to cook with you 

If you don’t know how, that’s okay! Mikey can teach you after all he's been cooking for his brothers all of these years 

If you’d rather just watch that's fine, he’ll even make something especially for you 

Loves making sweets for you just to see your reaction 

Doesn't ever really get compliments about his cooking skills so it means a lot when you do give him praise 

Another one who will share his comics with you if you ask him

Living with this man is…an experience to say the least

When he first started adjusting to living with you it seemed as though your very presences was enough to piss him off 

He wanted nothing to do with you whatsoever, asking him to do the bare minimum would provoke a groan and eye roll before he gets up to only completely butcher whatever you had requested of him

Ask him for a glass of water? Drops it right in front of you

Ask him if he could help with the dishes? Breaks ten plates within the ten seconds he came over to ‘help’ you

Literally ask him to help with anything and he will destroy it in the most passive aggressive manner possible 

After a while of spending time around you however he found himself beginning to enjoy your company to an extent 

Though he wouldn’t ever actually tell you this

You did notice however that he wouldn’t let out as many exaggerated sighs or groans when you’d ask him for the weather for the day, or if he would help you out with something

Which was very much appreciated when he didn’t drop your groceries harshly to the ground as soon as he stepped inside your house

Write anything around you and he’ll occasionally peak over to see what your doing, if he sees any sort of spelling mistakes he’ll be prompt to snatch your laptop and correct any sort of mistakes he sees 

God forbid you don’t use correct grammar and spelling in texts because I wish i was kidding when I say he will block you 

If he feels nice he’ll occasionally cook for you, he’s pretty good considering he can download any sort of cooking program 

Cleaning is a big no always, he won’t ever do it, you can’t and will not get him to do it 

Occasionally just to be an asshole he’ll hide things in your kitchen from you and if you ask him about a certain objects disappearance he’ll simply object to knowing anything about it in the first place

“Hey, Google, have you seen the butter anywhere??” 

“I have not, perhaps you forgot to by some, I will add ‘butter’ to your shopping list” 

He knows what he's doing, and he’s enjoying every second of your confusion 

If you ever get him any sort of present during the holidays or anything like that he’ll genuinely be so confused

“I don’t understand the purpose of this”

“It’s a hat? You know for like when it gets cold out?” 

“I know what a hat is, that’s not what I meant”

He’ll be somewhat appreciative of it, considering he didn’t even expect you to get him anything

Though he’ll show his gratitude in different ways, such as checking up on you, reminding you to take care of yourself like showering, eating, getting enough sleep, etc
