how it feels remembering you don’t have to give 3rd chances you can just cut people off💋

my friend took a sneaky candid of me last night and I’m kinda obsessed…
I find the theory that cool guys don't like cool girls so silly. These little guitar playing, book reading, fashionistas, are so afraid of a girl that will stand out more than them. But, simultaneously, they want their manic pixie dream girl. I can get into that whole stereotype another day, but what I think is so alluring about this type of girl is the fact that she isn't really a girl, but a vessel for enlightenment for these so- called "cool guys." She is not a person, but an enigma you can use to justify your showy brooding and existentialism. The second she does show a human trait she becomes unfathomably ugly. some might call it "the ick." But, I think the focus should not be on whether or not these men actually like cool girls, when they are not true cool guys. Real cool guys are active listeners, they read books when no one is watching, they enjoy goofing off and looking not cool. And trust me real cool guys exist. WE SIMPLY MUST HOLD MEN TO A HIGHER STANDARD. coolness is not a performance it is a lifestyle, so ladies, don't let these posers fuck you over.
listening to Jeff Buckley, hungover, after getting wine drunk and watching brokeback mountain with my friends. Is it possible for a hangover to be pleasant?

Unfortunately, I was born a thought daughter and life has turned me into a thot daughter.

haven't made a moodboard in a while and it shows...
Normalize asking chat gpt how to pull off the indie sleaze aesthetic

i have a whole pinterest board devoted to missing summer. can't wait for warm weather again!
girlhood is having a deep love for that one friend that you never verbalize but both of you understand. you talk about your relationships with other people but you're the ones that go out to restaurants and museums and bookstores together, the ones that make each other laugh the hardest, and know each other the most profoundly.
Getting rejected as a girl is the most eye opening experience because it makes u realize how dramatic boys are. like, babe, chill with the death threats and go bake some cookies. Then once ur done with that eat them all while watching a murder mystery. It works, promise;)
Priscilla by Sofia Coppola
tw- sofia coppola hate<3 The movie itself wasn't all bad. I thought the cinematography and art department did a beautiful job and the movie is total eye candy, which I love. Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi clearly both put their whole actusies into the film. That being said, I was really disappointed by story. It was the epitome of the male fantasy. I remember laughing to myself seeing this 15 year old girl wake up and pop some pills, already with flawless skin, rosy lips, and perfectly pointed eyeliner. Never did we see Priscilla exist on her own, separate from her relationship to Elvis. Her existence in the film began when she met him, and ended when she left him. There was never a time when she advocated for her own desires or needs outside of him, it was just Elvis, Elvis, Elvis. The character Sofia Coppola created is an incel's wet dream: a girl who never says anything wrong, a girl who has no goals for herself, a girl who cowers under her abuser. I am so sick of seeing women idealized in this way. It gives us such a narrow scope of what beauty and fulfillment is. I saw the film with my mom, and I think she said it best: "The opening credits said it all. It's darkness and then we see these two perfect feet. And they're walking through this lush shag carpet, and you think 'where are they going?' Maybe to a bathroom, maybe to a cool pair of shoes, or a mirror. But then you just get a shot of some draperies and a china elephant or whatever and then its like... PRISCILLA. We never see where she goes"

A november moodboard with some red accents🍒! my fave fall accessory at the moment are those skinny scarves kinda like the one in the top right corner. What's yours?
Once I asked a cinematographer what equipment I needed to shoot my short film and they said "passion and a camera."
I need me a ludicrously capacious bag that I carry everywhere that has a million secret pockets and 10 lbs worth of charms and bows attached to the handles. Think Marry Poppins meets Vivienne Westwood.
