Jungkook x Reader (eventual Taehyung x reader)

'I'm Taehyung' he said.

Yetontan yapped at me as I shook hands with his dad.

'Sorry he's a bit weird when you meet him for the first time' Taehyung said,  blushing.

'That's alright' I said,  rubbing Yeontan behind his ear. He sniffed my hand before giving me a cautious lick.

Meeting Taehyung at the park with Bambi and Yeontan became a regular thing. It helped me relax. He was gentle and so easy to be around,  unlike my friend's and family who treated me as if I were made of glass. Taehyung was a refreshing change to it.

Milly and I had began house-hunting. I wasn't interested in moving so I never liked anything I saw. Why didn't they understand that I didn't want to move yet. My heart broke each time I thought about selling it off and then watch someone else come and change everything. Their constant phone calls and visits drove me to the edge. I would cry out in frustration sometimes.

'You don't even know what I'm going through!  It's just so easy to ask me to forget it all!'

'Baby,  that's not-' Mom gave me a guilty look.

'Just don't' I said. 'It's time for Bambi's walk'

Bambi trudged behind me, happy to leave the tense environment.

'I thought you weren't coming' Taehyung said,  his face brightening on seeing us.

'My parents were visiting' I told him as we walked. 'Same old house hunting and moving on stuff'

He nodded.

'Can't you stay with your friend Milly for a while?' he asked.

'She lives with her boyfriend' I said. 'Uh!  This is just so stressful!'

'Calm down!' Taehyung said with a smile.

'It's very simple. I just don't wanna move' I said. 'I don't think I'm ready to start over yet'

He nodded again.

'They all treat me like I'm gonna shatter the minute they leave me alone' I said. 'I just wish they'd just relax first'

'I have something to say' Taehyung said,  leading us to a bench and sitting down. I sat beside him and Yeontan jumped into my lap.

'So the issue is they want you to start over and you need time for it'

I nodded.

'Come stay with me' he said. 'We're friends,  you know I won't push you. It's close to your apartment,  you can come anytime you want. They'll be happy too.'

I stared at him.

'Are you serious?' I asked, my eyes wide.

'Of course!' he said, trying to balance Yeontan on top of Bambi. 'You need time. You can stay till you find something you like. You'll have to keep your apartment till you find a new one and move your stuff'

'But-'

'Just suggesting,  Y/N' he said,  'I do live alone,  and I won't be home all day. So,  you'll have your space'

He made it sound so simple. I knew he was a great guy,  but moving in with him?  Even if as a roommate?

'Sleep on it' he said. 'You are in no hurry to do anything'

I did sleep on it. I took me about a weekend to make up my mind. I called him up to let him know that I wanted to move into his apartment. It'll keep my parents and Milly off my back and I can come home anytime I wanted to.

My parents were excited. They wanted to come and help me pack,  but I asked them not to. Milly came over,  so did Taehyung.

Bambi and Yeontan were literally everywhere. Taehyung just ran behind them with an empty box in hand,  pretending to help. I knew he did that just so that I would laugh at his silliness rather than cry over leaving.

I smuggled some of Jungkook's shirts into my suitcase when Milly wasn't watching. It was harder than I thought. I did break down, as Milly and Taehyung took my stuff to the car.

It was our little heaven. I sat on our bed,  crying. I didn't want to leave. I wanted Jungkook more than ever that minute. My eyes wandered around the room,  embedding every little detail in my mind.

A pair of arms wrapped around me from behind. Milly pressed her cheek against mine.

'It's not about the place,  Y/N' she said,  soothingly. 'It's about him. And you know he's always with you'

I nodded as I cried harder.

'Don't cry,  sweetheart' she said. 'Just know it's for the best.'

My heart did shatter into a thousand pieces as we drove away.

Y/N and friends plan a birthday surprise for Jungkook 💖

*Birthday Planners*

Y/N💞: Guys!  I need help! Jimin: There's a group to plan Jungkook's birthday. Wow. Tae: Whatever you need,  Y/N. This is going to be great! Y/N💞: I wanna do something special for him,  but Im just so nervous!! Apu👑: Don't worry,  it'll be just fine Y/N💞: I want to bake him a cake first and then Apu and I thought of some things Rapmon😎: What should we do? Jin: I'll help you bake the cake,  please!!! Y/N💞: You got it Jin! Jin: Awesome!!

Y/N breathed a sigh of relief as everyone were given work to do and things were looking good. Jungkook was sprawled across the couch,  eyes on his cellphone. They couldn't get on with the plan when he was at home,  so Tae and Jimin were in charge of keeping him out till midnight.

Once they had dragged him out,  Jin and Namjoon helped Y/N with the cake. Hobi and Yoongi helped Apu with the decorations.

It was well into the night when Y/N was finally done with the rest of his surprise. Y/N quickly got showered and dressed before getting on with the final touches.

Yoongi and Hobi had gone way ahead with the decorations in the living room in Apu's absence.

'You guys!  He's not turning 5!' Namjoon said shaking with laughter as they walked into a sea of balloons in the living room.

'He'll always be our baby' Yoongi said dramatically. 'Even if he has a girlfriend'

'I was away for 5 minutes,  guy' Apu said,  rolling her eyes.

Tae: We're almost there Y/N: OK 😨

'Guys they're almost here!' Y/N squealed running into the kitchen. Jin handed her the cake and made her way to Jungkook's room. Closing the door behind her,  she set the cake on his bedside table.

Tae: We are home! Y/N💞: I'm scared!  I think I overdid it! Jin: You didn't!  It's perfect! Apu👑: Oh God,  he's asking for you 😍😂 Jimin: He knows you're upto something 😂😂 Y/N💞: Shitshitshit Tae: Get ready,  he's coming 😉

Y/N set her cellphone down and took the little chocolate cake in hand,  waiting for him. She was almost terrified at the thought of him coming in,  and shivered slight as she heard him outside the door.

'Y/N?' he said in a sing song voice,  opening the door slowly. And he stood still,  eyes wide in surprise.

He stepped in and closed the door behind him, the shock melting into a smile.

'Happy Birthday,  Kookie' Y/N said smiling.

'Y/N' his voice was soft and she could swear his eyes were moist. He took the cake from her hands,  setting it on the table,  before pulling her into a tight hug. 'This is beautiful'

Jungkook cupped his hands on her cheeks as he kissed her. Y/N giggled as he pressed small warm kisses on her lips.

He pulled back,  a hand around her shoulder and eyes scanning his room.

The dark room was lit only some pretty fairy lights and some heart balloons hovered over his bed,  with pictures of the couple hanging at the end of the long strings. He moved towards his bed,  to get a proper look at them before turning back to Y/N and holding his hand out to her.

'This is the best birthday ever!' he said,  giving her his best toothy smile.

Y/N kissed his cheek feeling more happier than she could have thought.

He kissed her again,  smiling against her lips each time he thought how lucky he felt.

'I love you so much' he murmured, pulling her against his chest.

'I love you too,  Kookie' she whispered.

Once they were both feeling normal again,  Y/N asked 'So gonna cut the cake or what? I made it'

'Of course' he said.

Jungkook kissed Y/N one last time before making their way down to join the rest of the team. It's safe to say Jungkook had the best time ever.

Taehyung looked like he'd been stabbed right in the heart. He took a step back from us and then turned around, walking away.

Cursing under my breath, I pushed Chris away from me.

'Sorry, Chris' I said, 'I can't'

'But, Y/N-'

'We'll talk later, I promise'

He tried to protest, but I didn't stay to hear him out. My heart was pounding so hard, my chest hurt. My high heels made it a bit difficult for me to run, so I took them off and ran - heels in one hand, holding the dress up with the other.

'Tae!' I yelled. 'Taehyung!'

I saw him turn around the corner, ignoring my calls.

I managed to catch up with him, dropping everything and holding on to his arm.

'Please, Tae'

'I get it!' he said, yanking his arm away harshly. 'Go back to him.'

'Tae-'

'Go!' Tae's voice was so loud, I trembled as he yelled. 'All you had to do was say, Y/N! Not play with my feelings!'

'But-'

'Shut the fuck up!' he backed me up against a wall, shaking with anger. 'I understand, OK? I'm done. I saw what I -'

His eyes were as big as saucers as I pressed my lips against his. I had to shut him up.

He just started at me as I pulled back, blushing deeply.

'I'm sorry, but you wouldn't stop, so-' I said, my voice shaking.

'But'

'He tried to kiss me, Taehyung' I said. 'I didn't'

'I don't understand' he said.

'I like you, Taehyung. I like you a lot.' I said. 'I tried to fight it, but-'

He ran his fingers through his hair before stepping forward to kiss me. His arms went around my waist as mine went around his neck.

'You just killed me' he whispered pressing his forehead against mine. 'I thought-'

His lips were on mine again, kissing me slowly before they traveled down my jaw to my neck and to my collar bone, pressing warm kisses on their way.

'Tae' I said, stopping him from going further.

He gave me a confused look.

'We're still at office' I reminded him, not wanting Chris to walk into this.

'OK, lets go' he said hurriedly, picking up my heels and grabbing my wrist as he made his way to the parking lot. I had to run to keep up with him.

'Slow down!!' I whined.

'OK' he said with a grin, pushing me against a wall, and kissing me again.

'You have no idea what you do to me' he said, his free hand around my waist, holding me close. 'Walking around looking so beautiful'

'Tae!!!!!' I said, pushing him away, 'We should go, really!'

He laughed, grabbing me again and walking towards the parking lot.

'Your place or mine?' he questioned, beginning to drive.

'Um, yours? Lilly will be home' I said.

'OK' he said.

I tried to hide how terrified I was. I knew he adored me, I did too, but I was still so nervous, I was sweating.

I followed him into his apartment, which he shared with his friend, Jimin. It felt warm and cozy, calming me down for a minute, before Tae grabbed me, kissing me. He took small steps backwards without breaking the kiss, till he settled on the couch. He pulled me towards him, making me straddle his lap awkwardly, my long gown pushed up to reveal my legs.

He continued to kiss me, one hand on the nape of my neck and the other on my leg. My insides burned as I held on to him, the fabric of his shirt crumbling under my grip. The urgency to be as close to each other as possible got us kissing sloppily, his teeth touching mine. He bit my lower lip, making me gasp. He gave me an angelic smile before settling his lips on my neck, sucking at the skin.

The next thing I knew, he picked me up bridal style, dropping me on his bed and hovering over me, eyes shining excitedly.

'Why are you wearing this dress, God! ' he said, trying to get it off me.

I laughed, not helping him.

'Um, some help please?' he said, not getting his lips off me, when he saw me watching him with amusement, he grew serious.

'I've waited for more than an year for this, babe, don't test me now'

The intensity of his stare was enough, that I began tugging at my dress and he got it off me, ripping it in the process.

'Taehyung!!!'

'Oops'

He wink at me unapologetically and kissed me, as his fingers worked on the buttons of his shirt. He left it off midway, cupping his hands on my cheeks and moaning into my mouth. I pushed his shirt off his shoulders, my fingers trailing down his chest.

His hands and lips reached every part of me, showing me exactly how much he craved me.

Once spent and totally drained, I lay in his arms, head resting on his chest.

Tae couldn't keep his hands off me, and we ended up going at it again twice.

I woke up the next morning, feeling around the bed for Tae. But it was empty. Whining, I opened my eyes looking around. I found that he'd left me a T-shirt and shorts and a fresh towel at the edge of the bed. Smiling, I got off, taking a quick shower and changing into his clothes. They were big for me, but I was comfortable.

I made my way to the kitchen, where I could hear him singing. I stepped in nervously, clearing my throat. He put down the kettle he was holding and turned around with a bright smile.

'Good morning, Jagiya' he said, holding his hand out to me.

'Good morning Tae' I said, as he pulled me in for a hug, pressing a soft kiss on top of my head. His lips found mine in a warm kiss, but it was never just a kiss with Tae. Backing me up against the kitchen counter, he deepened the kiss, hands traveling up my legs and stopping to feel my chest lazily. His hips pressed against mine, rocking slowly.

I felt him smile into the kiss, and his hands were on my legs again, lifting me off the ground on to the counter. He got in between my legs, handing slipping under my T-shirt, nails scrapping softly at my skin.

A sudden scream, shook us.

Jimin stood with his eyes covered with his hands, having dropped a bag of groceries on the floor.

'What the hell, Jimin! ' Tae scolded, helping me off the counter.

'You have a bedroom for a reason, Taehyung' Jimin said, crouching down to retrieve the dropped items. 'Nice to finally meet you, Y/N'

He looked up to give me a smile.

'Nice to meet you too' I said, blushing.

Tae and I helped him get all the stuff into the kitchen.

'And please, don't do it in the kitchen' Jimin said with a wink as he left the kitchen.

'Fuck off' Tae said, his smile back on.

'Shit, I forgot about Lilly!' I said in sudden realization. 'She's gonna kill me!' I ran back to Tae's bedroom to call Lilly.

She picked up right away saying 'Y/N, if you're gonna tell me that you went with Chris, I swear to god -'

'Lilly!! Listen to me! Why would I go with Chris?!'

'Because I saw him coming after you and then you were all gone!!'

'But I didn't!' I said 'I'm at Taehyung's'

'What?!'

Lilly was silent for a good few seconds.

'Finally' she said in a triumphant voice. 'I'm so glad'

'Thank you, Lilly' I said 'I really don't have any clothes to wear, can you -'

'You guys did it?! ' Lilly shouted into the phone.

'Are you bringing the clothes or not?'

'I'll be right there' she giggled before I hung up.

I sipped my much needed coffee and sighed.

'Thank you, Chris' I said, smiling at my colleague.

'No problem' he said with a wink as he pulled a chair to sit next to me. He opened the file he wanted to talk to me about and started off.

Well into the conversation, I had this feeling of being watched. It felt so real, I looked around the room to find a certain pair of eyes on me and Chris. Exhaling loudly, I strained to keep my eyes on screen as Chris talked.

Kim Taehyung was one of the newer employees. He was made to work with me from the beginning and now had taken a particular liking towards me. He flirted with me endlessly and tried to get me to go out with him.

It would be a lie to say that I wasn't attracted to him. He was gorgeous. Not to mention the sweetest. Only he was 4 years younger to me. It felt a bit weird. But he never gave up - not even since it was more than an year now.

Once Chris was done, he moved on with his work, I glanced at Taehyung. He made his way towards me, eyes flashing with anger and jealousy.

'Tae, don't even start' I warned him.

'You just love it when he flirts with you' he scoffed.

'He's our manager. He was helping me with work' I replied calmly.

'Right'

Tae's eyes were fixed on my face as I tried to ignore him.

'Y/N'

I looked up at him, sighing.

'Yes, Taehyung'

He started talking in Korean - his usual angry ranting when I pissed him off. I tried to hide the smile that threatened to show up, as Tae continued, his pouty lips moving rapidly. It was the most adorable thing ever.

I hummed every now and then to let him know that I was listening even though I didn't understand a thing.

Chris announced the party our company was throwing for our latest clients that weekend later that evening. I hated those. We had to dress up and try to impress everyone and these parties were the most boring ones ever.

Lilly picked a black gown for me and insisted on doing my makeup.

'Gotta doll you up!' she sang as she worked on me.

She loved the idea of Taehyung and me. She totally shipped us. I pretended to get offended even though I secretly enjoyed when she list why he was perfect for me.

'Why did you pick this dress, Lilly? I'm sure I'll be tripping around the entire night' I said, pulling on my heels.

'This dress is beautiful. Besides Chris wants us all to look great' she said. 'All done! '

I looked at the mirror and smiled.

'Thanks Lils' I said 'It's perfect'

Once we reached the venue, my eyes were searching for Taehyung. He looked the best in suits and knowing him, he always did something quirky with them too. I couldn't see him and I sighed deciding to get something to drink.

A tap on my shoulder made me jump.

'Looking for me?'

I rolled my eyes, biting my lip trying not to smile.

'You scared me, Taehyung!'

'You look-' his mouth hung open as his eyes scanned me head to toe. 'Hot'

'Thank you' I said with a smile, my cheeks burning. 'You look great too'

He smirked wiggling his eyebrows at me. We walked to the refreshments area to get a drink and split up in a while, interacting with the other party goers. I did end up stumbling over my dress a few times and ended up spilling wine all over it.

'Shit' I said under my breath, excusing myself to get it cleaned. It was a black dress, but I didn't want to risk it.

I walked towards the washroom at the end of the hall, closer to our workstations. Once I managed to clean it, I turned to leave, but walked straight into something hard.

'Sorry' I said backing away. 'Chris?'

'Hey' he said, 'Everything OK?'

'Yeah, just dropped some wine on my dress' I said casually, trying to walking.

'Listen' Chris blocked my way, nervously. 'Can we talk? '

Something felt weird about the way he was looking at me.

'Um, sure' I said even though I was far from sure. 'Are you OK? '

'Um, yeah' he said, wiping the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief. 'Y/N'

'Chris, what's going on?'

'I don't know how to do this' Chris straightened his suit with shaking hand.

He exhaled loudly before saying 'I like you, Y/N. I have for a long time. I know we've been friends for a long time and it never came up. I was afraid to say anything, but now-'

I stared at him open mouthed. This was not supposed to happen. This can't happen.

'Y/N' his voice was low as he took a step forward. 'You're so beautiful -'

My mind screamed a big no. Chris has always been an amazing boss. A an even greater friend. But that's all that could be.

The next thing I knew, I saw a shadow moving towards us from the end of the hall. I tried to see who it was.

My eyes widened as Chris stepped forward, a hand on my waist and face too close to call safe, and Taehyung's face came into view.

I gasped, stumbling back. Taehyung stood frozen, his face displaying how hurt he was.

'No' my voice was merely a whisper.

Jungkook x Reader (Confession Time!!)

After hours of tossing and turning,  Y/N decided she just can't sleep. Feeling grumpy and totally worn out,  she left her room with her blanket draped over her shoulders. She went down the stairs and stood at the landing not knowing what to do.

After a bit of thought she decided to watch some TV. Y/N lay on the couch stretching her legs out before flipping through the channels. Settling for a re-run of the Friends,  she took out cell phone. She had an urge to text Jungkook,  but knowing him,  she let go of the idea.Half an hour into the show,  Y/N heard footsteps and turned to find Tae coming down the stairs rubbing his eyes.

'Y/N?'

'Mmm?' she hummed looking at him with sleep deprived eyes.

'What are you doing here?'

'Can't sleep. You?'

'Same'

He came over and looked at her to give him some place to sit.

'No.' she said shaking her head. 'Go get your own couch'

'But I wanna sit here'

'TaeTae!!!' Y/N said exhaling loudly.

She pulled back her legs to make space for Tae before placing them on his lap after he sat.They watched the show in silence except for occasional giggles. In the middle of a fit of laughter they heard another set of footsteps.Y/N and Tae found Jungkook making his way towards them,  a frown on his face.

'What's going on?' he asked,  his voice clearly showing signs of irritation.

'Couldn't sleep so-' said Y/N with a shrug.

Jungkook felt his insides burn at the sight of them. Tae's eyes traveled between Y/N and Jungkook,  sensing the tension brewing.

'Alright,  goodnight then' Jungkook said firmly,  walking off without waiting for any reply.

                                  ***

Y/N struggled to keep her eyes open all day. She had a hard day at college,  trying not to fall asleep in class. Jungkook acted weird at lunch and refused to acknowledge her all day.

*Kookie💖*

Y/N💞: You're avoiding me. Y/N💞: What did I do 😞 *She waited for him to reply, but he didn't* Y/N💞: Jungkook. What is it? He chose to ignore her yet again. It went on for a couple of days,  until a point where she could no longer take it. *TaeTae* Y/N💞: Where is Jungkook? Tae: Um,  in our room Y/N💞: Thanks Tae Tae: 👍

Rage searing through her,  she marched to Jungkook's room and banged on the door with her fist. The door opened and Y/N pushed her way in,  closing the door behind them.

'What the hell is wrong with you?!' she asked,  giving him a murderous glare.

'What?' he asked,  not looking at her.

'You know what,  Jungkook'

'Why do you care?'

'Jeon Jungkook. I'm warning you. You better tell me what's wrong or this will be our last conversation.'

Jungkook peeked a glance at her,  and immediately felt guilty. Her eyes brimming with tears and yet she was shaking with anger.

'OK. It's a simple question.' Jungkook said.

'What is?'

'What's going on with you and Tae?'

'Excuse me?'

Y/N gave him a look of disbelief.

'What we're you both doing that night?'

'Watching Friends. You saw'

'Right.' Jungkook scoffed.

'Look here,  Jungkook. Tae's one of my closest friends. I love him. I do. But it's not that kind of a love.' Y/N said,  her voice shaking. 'I can't believe this is why you wouldn't talk to me!'

Jungkook looked away. He didn't know how to even begin to explain how he felt.

'Why does it bother you? So what if I liked Tae?' Y/N said.

Jungkook remained silent.

'Don't you dare ignore me!' She was almost yelling.

'Fine!' Jungkook said,  holding his hands up in defeat. 'Look. I was jealous, OK?  I came down to see him cuddling with you and -'

'We weren't cuddling'

'Almost cuddling though'

'Nope'

'Do you wanna hear this or not?'

'Go on'

'I wondered why him and not me. OK?  I just can't - you and Tae. I can't.'

He shook his head.

'You have no clue what you mean to me!  Tae is my brother. If at all anything like that comes up,  it would kill me!'

Y/N stood still not knowing what to say. It was all coming out too fast.

'Tae and I are NOT together. I told you he's special to me, but not in a romantic way, OK?'

Jungkook nodded.

'Kookie' she touched his hand slowly.

'Y/N you mean something to me' Jungkook said slowly. 'I can't explain it. It's not like how I feel about Apu. It's, uh-'

Jungkook struggled with his words.

'I feel the same way about you dumbass' Y/N said shaking her head.

'What?' Jungkook gave her a wide eyed look. 'You do?'

'I do'

He looked at her with a trace of a smile, and said 'I'm sorry'

'Whatever' Y/N said shrugging.

'Are we good?'

'Depends on how you plan to make it up to me'

'Don't play hard to get,  Y/N' Jungkook said with a grin. 'You want me so bad'

'The nerve. Really. You're unbelievable.'

'Oh it's me now?'

'Oh God. You suck Jungkook'

'You are worse'

'You're -'

Jungkook pressed his lips to hers in a soft kiss. He pulled back to make sure it was OK,  and seeing the smile on her face,  he leaned in for a deeper one.

Y/N threw her arms her arms around his neck,  standing on her toes to reach him. She pulled back to breath and said 'You're not that bad'

'Your aren't either'

Apu👑: I ordered pizza! Jin: Tae and Jimin are getting the drinks and ice cream Rapmon😎: Anything more? Y/N💞: Uh, what's going on? JK : ?? Apu👑: Don't act all innocent you two. We know all about the dirty deeds that happened under this roof. Y/N💞: 😑 JK : 😑

Tae: Seriously Kook, you drama queen. JK : This group focuses on nothing but attacking me Y/N💞: You deserve it though JK : I thought we worked it out😉 Apu👑: HOW😸 Apu👑: Anyway, even though you guys tried to hide everything from us, we still decided to celebrate the occasion of the coming together of the two most annoying people in the world
