Of all things, you became a seelie when you got isekai’d into your favourite game, Genshin Impact. You decide to make him fall for whatever charms you have left in hopes of being taken in as a pet to survive.

You were ecstatic when Aether chose you over the purple seelie; you didn’t want to be trapped in the glass container you had been captured in for an eternity shortly after being isekai’d into Genshin Impact.

Aether would be surprised by your immense enthusiasm to travel with him, and he laughs softly when you nuzzle his cheek. He certainly picked an affectionate seelie and doesn’t regret his choice at all.

Your intelligence comes as another surprise for him. He knows that seelies are good at finding treasures, but you seem to be a special case as the intelligence you possess is on par with a human’s. You’d help him solve the complicated puzzles scattered around Inazuma, and you don’t hide like his other pets when monsters show up! Like a true companion, you float by his side in battle, empowering him with your moral support. He truly appreciates you.

Aether takes really good care of you, and even Paimon pointed out how he seems to love you more than her. You don’t need to eat as a seelie, but he sometimes forgets that and ends up pushing the food he made against your blob-like body, earning a squeak of protest from you. He also tends to sleep while hugging you like a teddy bear; he didn’t think you were one to enjoy cuddles until he found you all nestled up in his arms one morning.

You’re an adorable and smart seelie, so of course you’d attract the attention of his friends. Childe complimented you on how brave you are to not poof out of existence when there’s danger, and Xiangling commented on how chewy you look… However, Aether’s greatest concern is Ayato; when the Yashiro Commissioner noticed how intelligent and loyal you are, he kept trying to bargain with Aether to keep you as his pet. Of course, Aether would shoot him down every time whilst holding you protectively.

Aether is used to people leaving him - but after embarking on many adventures with you as an extra companion, he can’t imagine things ever being the same if you suddenly disappeared one day. You’ve become an important presence in his life and he swears to protect you from Ayato. You and Paimon will always be with him, right? He didn’t realise he asked the question out loud until he feels you press against his lips, causing his cheeks to flush happily.

It hadn’t been more than two weeks since The Tsaritsa had tea with their benevolent creator and everyone who was in hearing distance to the balladeer and her majesty could hear how they talked about it.

“I’m a little jealous, actually. I want to see them too.” Tartaglia pouted as he leaned his head on the table. “How come the balladeer got to see them?”

Of course, they all felt the same on this matter. To be in the presence of their creator was an honor, a privilege that many got to have considering all the rumors but why had Scaramouche been chosen to accompany the Tsaritsa that day?

“The flowers seem brighter today.” Arlecchino remarks, her black and red eyes watching as the previously wilting lilies perked up back to life. “Which means-”

“Our creator is close by!” The excitement could be heard in Tartaglia’s voice even as Arlecchino glared at him and then rest stared in irritation.

“Calm down, fool.” She hissed at him as she hid her excitement well. He was worse than a child, she swears.

“Let him be excited.” Pantalone smiled, his over politeness never wavering. “I’m sure we all feel the same.”

“And yet we can sit still, so please refrain from speaking to me, Regrator.” If words could kill, she would have murdered him years ago.

Before an argument could break out, the doors opened and they all turned to it. There stood Scaramouche with you by his side. He was detailing the making of how hats like his were make as you nodded along, intently listening.

“-And that is how it’s done. All the hard work is worth it in the end. If the maker is competent that is.” Scaramouche scoffed as he shut the door behind you and glared at his coworkers.

You tilted your head as you watched the other harbingers in curiosity. The Tsaritsa was much too busy to accompany you but she insisted you meet the other ten harbingers.

Childe wanted to squeal so badly, the Aster’s that adorned your hair remained in their place even as you tilted your hair. How cute you were, their benevolent creator.

You smiled at them and it felt like something was blooming inside of them. Disgusting.

“Hello.”

"And you just allowed her to lean so close to you?! What the hell, Kazuha?" you questioned the man in front of you, who happened to be your fiance.

He averted his gaze, replying to you in a almost whisper-like tone. "Well," he reasoned, "she was leaning close while I was looking at papers, I couldn't have stopped her." His response in defense did nothing, however, to ease the situation.

"You know what she's doing, and you know how she treats me! For fucks sake, I'm your fiancee! Couldn't you at least tell her to keep her distance?" You retorted. Kazuha knew very well about how the girl in question had made you feel like shit and ridiculed you on multiple occasions. Yet, he had done nothing to stop her advances.

You knew he preferred to avoid conflict, and you were fine with that in the beginning of the relationship.

"Sorry I made you feel that way, love. I'll do my best to keep my distance from her, for you." He'd say that as he cuddled you and peppered your face with gentle kisses.

But that was the past, the apologies became less genuine day by day. I had grown tired of his lack of effort.

Kazuha frowned in frustration. "But that'd be rude. I don't want to be rude to a person who hasn't done anything harmful to me-"

Before he could continue defending himself, you slapped him on the cheek, interrupting him. How could he say such a thing, that she did nothing? Did he even consider your place as his fiancee.

"You know what? I'm done. I'm tired of always going back to you after you let me down by doing nothing. I'm tired of being the only one who's seemingly maintaining the relationship. I'm tired of having to be the one to tell you to be aware of your boundaries with other women, even though you're the fiance and should know better. I hate how you apologize and repeat your mistakes. I'm just- I'm fucking tired of this relationship, Kazuha." The frustration and anguish you managed to keep in, blew up. You couldn't take it anymore.

"Love, I'm so sorry! Please, give me another chance, I'll raise my boundaries with her-" You shifted your head towards the door, disregarding his, as usual, insignificant apology.

Taking the beautiful, diamond adorned ring off your finger, you placed it on the table separating you and your now ex-fiance. "Sorry isn't going to cut it this time. I'm won't waste my time anymore by loving you, Kazuha. Goodbye."

"Love, please wait-" before he could chase after you, the door in front of him had slammed shut. Regret came washing over him as he lost you. You, his fiancee, the love of his life that he threw into the garbage.

Kazuha placed his hand on his reddened cheek. The skin you once caressed with such tender lovingness now served as a reminder of his mistake. The ring on the table would make him regret and lament over his conflict-avoidant self for the years to come.
