Okay so basically Richie gets the Omnitrix. it was originally supposed to go to Miss Holloway but ends up in Richie's hands. After this Paul proposal in impromptu tour of the USA. Grace comes along as a program for her church basically doing missionary business but ends up getting thrown into this whole mess.

Basically most of the Lord's in blacks power is put into the Omnitrix probably by Webby and the Lords are trying to get that power back.

Basic plot ig

Notes:

-Max does have absorption powers like Kevin presumably given by the Lord's in blacks fucking with stuff. Anyway, absorbing the powers from the watch let's max turn into his ghost form eventually getting stuck that way.

-Grace uses the black book to perform magic like Gwen.

- Paul proposes the road trip because he is the hatchet field universe equivalent to a plumber but instead of plumbers it's CCRP anyway they're going around the world to get Richie out of hatchet field (presumably where the Lord's in Black are strongest)

- this stuff probably won't make sense if you're a Ben 10 fan so I apologize I am willing to explain anything to anybody just ask. This is also not a super serious AU because I think trying to combine these two pieces of media is already hard enough I wouldn't want to make it super in detailed but I hope you like the concept. 😭

my kai fanon is that she has pretty bad anger issues from her mom's side of the family that no one has taught her how to deal and dismiss bc of her gender, and this leads her to often say cruel things to people out of obliviousness and then get angry when they react poorly. she likes to be alone so she doesnt blow up at people or say something mean on accident. sure, she likes benwolf, but she also likes ben because instead of dismissing her anger or shunning her for it, he confronts her about it and tries to help her cope (she has been secretly kicking the shit out of herself for years for making the dog comment to him. why did she say that. they were getting along so well.)
