When people read about the 8th house, the first thing that comes to mind is sex. And sorry to dampen your excitement, but that's not all this house is about.

The 8th house is a place of depth, taboos, traumas, death and fears. Is the house of transformation, of the occult, of what is not accepted by society.

Is deep bonding, deep sharing, and deep transformation. It is a person's most intimate and darkest place.

So when a planet falls in this house, you feel like your privacy has been violated. It's like if you let a stranger read your diary, let them go through your stuff and turn your life upside down.

It messes with your head, you no longer have control of your actions. You're blindfolded, and holding his hand in the dark.

You find yourself in Russian roulette. You trust that person with your eyes closed. And normally you don't trust anyone.

The person on the planet attracts like nobody else. It has a magnetic force that makes you want to be close to it. You feel naked next to this person.

I was once the person of the house and the planet. Usually they are different situations, but in this case they are the same. You both have darkness inside you, secrets and fetishes that you don't tell anyone. You attract each other because deep down you know that if you stick together, you will turn darkness into light.

If any personal planet falls here, sun, moon or venus. You light up this house, all the pain, suffering and fear disappears when you are together. You complete each other.

Neptune in the 5th house

Neptune in the fifth house:  Neptune in the fifth house can make a deity of the creative arts.  There is a need to let the artist inside sing, no matter what the medium.  These individuals have the capacity to tap into the collective and produce literary works, visual arts or performances that set the populace on fire.  It is not done because they want to; it is done because they must.

As with any other of the outer planets in the fifth, creativity is the vital part of the life that must be lived out in some way if the native is to feel fulfilled.  Here the imagination is as potent as the ability to act out many different dramatic roles.  Challenges arise when they feel they have obligations to others that keep them from freely pursuing their own desires. I feel like Momma and Dad are the biggest obstacles.  They don’t want me to be an artist.  They want me to be anything else but. (It’s all about $ to them.) But each time I go into the trenches and emerge, it is art I turn to.  And each time the doubt in my abilities lessens and confidence fills in the cracks.  At all costs I will prove to them I can make it as artist.  But first I must overcome my fear of public speaking and continue working on improving my communication skills. 

Bad Luck/Karmic Placements in Synastry

This is a topic I channeled because of my fascination with Neptune. 11th house synastry is usually so overlooked and underrated. The 11th house synastry provides a solid ground for acceptance, tolerance and also shared fanatasy/vision.

If your venus falls in someone's 11th house, they will immediatly take notice of all the things about you that has been rejected and shunned upon by society and fully accept it. They might even point it out as something they like or fancy! This will instil a deep sense of fascination towards the 11th house and you might not want to seperate from them. The venus person would want to spend as much time as possible with the 11th house because it makes them feel good about themselves and their individuality. 12TH in synastry, is making love mentally. It's stimulating the darkest places in the partner's mind. You don't need to be near each other to know that something has happened.

It's mystical, it's like you're exploring the dark and cold universe alone. It's like you have a mental and spiritual connection, you bring out the best in the person in the house.

There might also be a bit of disillusionment there. Especially if Neptune and Venus fall there. You give the person of the house the role of muse. You write songs, poems and poetry about her. You put her in the lead role, which ends up putting the expectations very high on her. That never ends well.
