"There's a carving in our gate," said Dacey. "A woman in a bearskin, with a child in one arm suckling at her breast. In her other hand she holds a battleaxe. She's no proper lady, that one, but I always loved her."

100% true! You are right. I should not have placed the exclamation point between 'heat' and 🌶️ for I absolutely meant capsaicin heat.
(still hard to imagine south and southeast asian diets without chiles tho)
Well I would give a medieval peasant some spaghetti.
Being in the top 1% of your top artist is mental, but have ya'll ever been in the top 0.5%? I've done it twice. Once for 2pm and the other for Somo.
I'm not a famous blog but I'll be reblogging more of your art regardless

@daceytheshebear thank you so much! This is incredibly sweet
Honestly, this blog started as a way to archive my miniatures, I wasnt expecting anyone to be interested, so I'm always super thrilled to see people reacting. If I wanted to get more recognition, I'd probably go for more show depictions and main characters, and less obscure randos- but I've had the experience of getting into a minor character with only one or two pieces of fan art, and you treasure those pieces more than anything.
wait what do people usually make eye contact with strangers on the street??? like you cross paths with people and look them in the eye? that's so wired i never did that ever and i never noticed that this was a thing either. I know looking people in the eyes when you are talking to them is *a thing* that's expected and ive worked my way around that but a random passerby is also worth this much attention?? help please this really is news to me.
*preparing to go outside* i’m normal. i know how to cross the street. i avoid eye contact in an organic non weird way, as if i simply do not notice fellow pedestrians.
