Being a king and war leader at 15 is so chill and fun đđđyayđ
I love Brienne so much can't not reblog all the beautiful art people make of her. Everything about this is precious the shield the cape the armor the background the sword the face the scars on the face the facial expression. Brienne. The artist loves Brienne like I do.

âThe Maid from Tarthâ (Color Pencil and Marker, 7x10)
[ID in Photo] born to play lacrosse forced to look for a maid of three-and-ten
justice for all the women of westeros but especially ASHA GREYJOY who ran for president on a platform of âIâll finally end the forever wars that have brought us literally no gain whatsoeverâ and still somehow lost to an evil wizard who did the fantasy equivalent of bringing back plutonium rods from Chernobyl
jaimeâs kingsguard curriculum vitae is gonna be so funny at the end of it all. âserved under four kings and one queen. cuckholded one of them with the other. fathered two of them. killed two of them. all died under his watch.â
the daemon and alyssa shit got me back on my thoughts re jaimeâs joanna dreamâŠ.

Aeron: "Men fish the sea, dig in the earth, and die. Women birth children in blood and pain, and die. Night follows day. The winds and tides remain. The islands are as our god made them."
Some scenes for the prompt "Home" for twoweeksoftheon
(The scene with Aeron hit me, when I reread. We often fault Theon for his homecoming, for failing to get to know the people and find allies first. But one of the first things he does on the Iron Islands is in fact ask for advice and information in full humility, from someone he remembers as potentially helpful. Aeron isn't.)

i really really like this sorry pack of squids
Dunk and Egg Harrenhal Halloween Episode. and scene. Egg tries to swim to the isle of faces and has to get fished out by a pretty fishermanâs daughter because Dunk canât remember if he knows how to swim. Comes out with a cool rock that Dunk immediately throws back into the Godâs Eye, threatening to clout him on the ear. He does not clout Egg on the ear. An old old man tells Dunk he dreamed of him, and that his dreams come true because his mother was a witch and that he should watch out because he dreamed of a big bat descending on him to kill. Recurring bit where Dunk is about to eat whatever people meat pie the Lothstons are serving up but keeps getting interrupted. An old woman Egg meets once who no one else can corroborate the existence of tells him thereâs a dragon egg in the basement. He gets lost looking for it and only gives up when the walls start screaming at him. Dunk and some rivermen are getting paid to shore up the inner walls but it takes forever because people keep disappearing. Eventually they accidentally break into a sealed-off room filled with gnarled, burnt-out skeletons. No one can recall when theyâre from. Danelle Lothston notices that Duncan the tall is tall, gives him some of the good wine, and is like come over for dinner tomorrow ;) Dunk gets spiked with the crazy blood potion and thereâs a freaky weirwood dream sequence involving no fewer than 2 summerhall foreshadowings and 3 bear and the maiden fair references. Danelle Lothston is fixing to eat Dunk the next day but right as sheâs about to get him alone Egg comes out like SER DUNCAN I SAW A GHOST. It looked like a WOMAN COVERED IN BLOOD she was wandering the halls near the dungeons and the kitchen. Dunk threatens to clout him on the ear because thatâs not real. Lady Lothston is like actually look at the time Iâve got to go and it looks like you do, too. Dunk gets smacked in the head by a bat he didnât see nesting in the hallway and thinks itâs a ghost for a second. Egg laughs at him. Dunk threatens to clout him on the ear. He does not clout Egg on the ear. Punchline at the end where on their way out Dunk finally gets to eat dinner and is wow like the high lords have everything and yet theyâre also serving the same kind of pork that we eat in flea bottom. Queer.

Two more alternatives because I could not figure out which is best

Mya Rivers. Continue with new ASOIAF fanart for children of Aegon IV Targaryen. This time another sister of Bloodraven - Mya. Again, there is no info about her, except her name, so her design is completely headcanon.

Gwenys Rivers. Continue with new ASOIAF fanart for children of Aegon IV Targaryen. This time sister of Bloodraven - Gwenys. I could not find much about her, except her name, so her design is completely imagined and have nothing to do with canon.
Auntie Dany & Prince Eggy
From the cutting board of an old story, as promised for @spookyscaryfox:
âCan I interest you in a mimosa, Auntie? A jay, perhaps?âÂ
Princess Daenerys turns away from the white clouds rippling beneath the plane wing like a banner in the wind to eye her nephew warily. Heâs the last person she wants to be trapped on a plane with right now, but Elia wanted them to return from their respective international trips together.
From Volantis to Pentos, Daenerys appreciated blessed silence as her traveling staff gave her the space to process her loss privately before having to do so in public.Â
Then, after an hour-long wait on a Pentoshi airfield, Aegon arrived.
âWe arenât going to brunch, Eggy; my mother is dead. And youâre not smoking on my plane.âÂ
âYouâre right. Grandmother did love a good vodka tonic,â he says, retrieving a small plastic baggy full of gummy bears from a vintage leather duffle bag monogrammed with a stately âA.T. VIâ before pressing the intercom. âWeâd like two vodka tonics, please.â
âYou carry your drugs in a monogrammed bag?âÂ
He blinks at her with eyes like Rhaegarâsâdeep indigo opposed to the light violet of her ownâwith none of his seriousness. âWhat? Theyâre only illegal in Westeros.âÂ
Maybe vodka isnât a bad idea.Â
âHow old were you when Grandmother let you have your first tonic?â Aegon asks, looking wistfully at the clear liquid in his glass.Â
Dany smiles, remembering her motherâs summons in the wee hours after her fifteenth birthday party. It was a bit of a tradition in the family that when she summoned you to the Queenâs personal sitting room for a drink, she thought of you as an adult.Â
âSo,â her mother said in her gentle voice. âTell me what you want to do with your life, my dear.â
To go to collegeâaway from Westeros. To see the world and learn about life outside of palaces and stuffy old traditions. To contribute more to the world than smiling and hugging children for photo opportunities.Â
Sheâd managed all of the above, with her motherâs ardent support every step of the way. Through six years at Sealordâs College in Braavos where she earned dual undergraduate degrees in international studies and economics, then a postgraduate degree in human rights. âDiplomacyâ missions across Essos and as far east as Asshai while she raised funds to start The Mhysa Foundation, which advocated against labor-related human rights abuses all over the world. Her fervent lobbying against archaic labor laws in Astapor, Yuncai, Meereen, and Volantis that were little more than thinly-veiled slavery.Â
And on the rare occasion Daenerys ended up in the tabloids for one silly thing or another (namely her weakness for the private company of tattooed Essosi futbol players), Rhaella never reprimanded her, even when Rhaegar and Elia expressed disapproval.
Gods, she missed her mother so much already.Â
âFifteen,â she finally answered Aegon. âYou were a bit older, right?âÂ
Aegon nodded. âNineteen. Not everyone was as wise beyond their years as you were, Auntie. Though,â he shrugs. âIt could have been worse. I donât think she had a drink with Uncle Viserys until he was twenty-one.â
That was certainly on-brand for her middle brother. âDo you remember what she said to you?âÂ
Her nephew cleared his throat and did his best impersonation of Rhaellaâs prim, melodic voice. ââYou come from the stock of rulers and rogues, on both sides. Gods be good, youâll be neither.ââ Casting a look at the red-haired Royal Guardsman seated with the rest of the detail near the back of the plane, he smiles a wicked grin. âShe was right. I much prefer to take after the women in my family.âÂ
Careful not to stare too hard at the older gentlemanâConnington, if sheâs not mistakenâDany rolls her eyes. âHonestly, Aegon. Heâs your fatherâs age.âÂ
Aegon motions for a refill. âThatâs the point, Auntie. Donât tell me youâve never indulged in a little âdaddyâ play? That enforcer from the Dothraki futbol team looked like the type.âÂ
Ordinarily, sheâd indulge his need to dish; especially since it seems like he wants a distraction from his grief. But sheâs in no mood to discuss her exes, least of all the one whose âsun and starsâ tattoo she only recently removed from her hip bone.Â
âHow long has this been going on?â If the man had touched her nephew when he was underage, sheâd personally have him gelded.Â
âBefore you start breathing fire,â Aegon held up his hand. âItâs only been since my twenty-third birthday. And I seduced him.âÂ
âIf Rhaegar ever finds outâŠâ
For the first time since he boarded the plane, Dany sees darkness cloud his carefree expression. âHis precious heir has just given him adorable twin grandchildren. And he has a throne to ascend. Who shares my bed is the least of Fatherâs concerns.âÂ
Unfortunately, with Rhaegar and Elia on the throne, Dany has a feeling that the dating lives of all the unmarried Targaryens are about to be at the top of the list of the crownâs concerns.Â
"Iâm going to try to get some rest. Thereâs a proper mourning suit for you to change into before we land. A preview from Pradaâs spring line.âÂ
With a smile, Aegon rises from his seat. âPrincess Daenerys, Holder of Degrees, Khaleesi of Essosi Futbol Cocks, Mhysa of the Downtrodden, Procurer of Fine Fabrics for Her Favorite Nephew. Long may you reign.â Â
âYouâre only my favorite until little Baelon is old enough to have a Vodka tonic with his Great-Aunt.âÂ
Flipping her the bird, he retreats to one of the suites, leaving Dany once more in blessed silence.

A/N: I forgot how observant Aegon is on the low. Him saying he "takes after the women" in his family messing around with his bodyguard meant that he knew about Rhaella/Barristan and Elia/Arthur. lol
ok like. i know im gonna sound insane right here but. #1 canon targ/valyrian/velaryon trait that goes ignored that makes me want to commit murder is them having aquiline noses. give them the noses cowards. i demand it. i need it. STOP GIVING THEM PRETTY LITTLE SMALL NOSES I WANT A BEAK ON THESE DRAGON FREAKS-

Fire and Blood, page 408
I would like to understand why so many people say that Rhaenys was useless compared to Visenya in the conquest if Rhaenys and Visenya conquered almost the same number of houses.
I'm currently reading fire and blood and until now Rhaenys and Visenya conquered almost the same number of houses, and Rhenys is the one who has had difficulty with the kings of these houses, and even with difficulty she conquered everything.
Aegon literally sent her to battle, and don't try to convince me that he didn't bc he knew with whom he was dealing.
Visenya literally had no difficulty on conquering the places she went while rhaenys was always in battles.
Rhaenys would've conquered and even more than Visenya and Aegon if she had conquered Dorne, so???
I believe that she would've conquered Dorne if Aegon didn't have the desire of submission, and I say it bc in the book Rhaenys shows herself as a great politician, she was so good that she even arrenged marriages among the great houses to hinder civil wars and to give an end to old conflicts.
No one is writing about Aegon and Rhaenys, I guess I have to be the first to give the first step
the day the fandom realizes arya isnât always âmasculineâ and sansa isnât always âfeminineâ theyre just two traumatized children navigating are world thatâs against them
