Pride Cometh Before The Fall.

Pride cometh before the fall.
(Don't worry, Cole was okay. But his forklift certification was revoked.)
And a variant that doesn't have Cole's gloating in the way:

This character was a "bookend" character, you might say—their first drawing on the left was the first one in its sketchbook, and the one on the right was the last! I started the sketchbook off using only various graphite hardnesses but in the end this guy was able to get a little bit of color. Good, because it's kinda hard to discern their saddle when monochromatic.
This fellow's definitely a part of Lotu's world, a younger deer-beast than Lotu himself is... perhaps an explorer venturing into unknown frontiers. As for the name... I'm leaning towards Biscu.
(In case you're curious, the following sketchbook was started off with this drawing.)

Here's Terrance hard at work, tearing up an old street to make way for new pavement!
It takes a lot of practice to do this without scratching nearby buildings with his free claws, or making imprints in them with his tail.

Here's Ghostie's father, Peter Szellem! Pete for short. He works at a construction company, specifically in demolition—using the help of some explosive bell-like creatures called Belbies to bring old buildings down safely and securely. Fortunately, demolition work on Pequan Island is sparse enough that he doesn't need to worry about not spending enough time with his son.
Much like Ghostie, Pete's based on the other built-in ghost sprite from Game Maker V6, a blue ghost with a... not sure if it was meant to be buck teeth or a moustache, but a few black pixels of something around the mouth area that wouldn't look right as a full-on character. And, again much like Ghostie, over the years his eyes have changed, he gained mitts, and now has a tail.

Pete is a good father, or at least he tries to be. One thing he loves most is just sitting down and hearing whatever's been exciting his son recently. Even if he doesn't understand it, if his son's happy, then he's happy.

Another old piece of art I made for PokeMedia! Here's Denim, dressed up in a Staraptor costume, visiting Canalave City for a traditional festival! I'm especially happy with how the lighting came out, I lucked out with getting a good sunset picture the night I began working on it.

It's another of my Pokemon! One of my Alolan team members alongside Denim, this is Flurry the Wigglytuff!
She filled out a slot I'd designated for an Akala Island team member—I had three slots for team members for Melemele, one for Akala, one for Ula'ula (that's Denim), and one for Poni (reserved for a certain bag-disliking cosmic boi). You'll likely see the rest of her teammates—heck, the rest of my teams in general—at a later date.
In this art, she's modelling the Bonfire style Holowear from Pokemon Unite! An adorable look that I'm glad could be purchased with tickets rather than splurging on gems, fits a Pokemon with a relaxed nature like her.
