Finished book 12 of the Iliad, and the best part was definitely when Zeus sent the Trojans an omen telling them that they should retreat, and when Poulydamas points this out, Hector just tears him a new one. He literally says he doesn't give a flying fuck about these birds and if Poulydamas leaves the fight or convinces anyone else to he will stab him. That was personal. Like Hector must've had some grudge against Poulydamas previously because wtf.

I fear the ttpd set might be my favourite on the tour, just about surpassing midnights <3

Are fedoras really that bad?

I truly can't explain it but something about Percy & Poseidon's dynamic truly breaks me. Much more than Annabeth's relationship with Athena or Nico's with Hades. I can't explain it. I just think it's written so well.

Iike Poseidon is by no means a good father, but he clearly loves Percy. Every time he interacts with Percy, you can feel how much he wants to be there for Percy and the fact he can't makes me actually nauseous.

AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON HIM BEING POSEIDON'S "favourite son" [DIRECT QUOTE 😭]

Or the fact he visited Percy when Percy was a baby even though he never should've for both their sakes *slams head repeatedly into knife*.
