I truly can't explain it but something about Percy & Poseidon's dynamic truly breaks me. Much more than Annabeth's relationship with Athena or Nico's with Hades. I can't explain it. I just think it's written so well.

Iike Poseidon is by no means a good father, but he clearly loves Percy. Every time he interacts with Percy, you can feel how much he wants to be there for Percy and the fact he can't makes me actually nauseous.
