My first serious animation attempt in years. You can tell which fandom i'm currently obsessing over. it's very simple, but i'm happy because it actually exists to be messed with now.

I was inspired by this awesome little catchy and well drawn animatic ;

I just doodled a snippet of a scene from a story I wrote, with a new animation program i'm trying out; think i'll keep looking though-- i had a lovely lineart background that was supposed to make up for the super sketchy character doodles, but the program ate it D: rip

I’ve been meaning to draw the boys from the Trask covert in my fanfic, Travel Buddies, for some time. Finally got him down on (digital) paper today!

he’s a blue twi’lek with a lot of good humor and a healthy dose of mischief, and a pinch of chaos

First time I’ve tried drawing his armor, and I’m actually pleased i managed to make it look more or less cohesive. Lots ot tweak yet, but he’s my tanky boi.

his helmet is actually my favorite thing; in my book, i write descriptions for armor worn by other species, and i had fun figuring out how a Twi’lek would get a covering mando helmet. I opted for a flexible beskar fabric cover that drapes over them from behind.

a cheaper one would be durasteel i suppose? Kicker has Beskar armor though, he’s part of the elite task force that—okay no that’s spoilers anyways

The original one was made as a contest entry for someone’s OC on Chickensmoothie (I wish I remembered their username D:) which is the green and yellow fellow with horns

i didn’t win but it was a lot of fun, and i ended up turningnthe lineart i created into my own adoptable template

didn’t end up going anywhere but it was fun to draw

WRITER GOALS WOOOOOO! 300k+ words!

This is from the document for Travel Buddies, book one.

It's been my goal for a long time, to write a story more than 300,000 words long. I finally reached that goal this week! And I'm quite proud of this tale. It's the best work of my writing, hands-down, and my first cohesive, novel length story. And I'm still writing! :D

Anyhow, sorry I've been so quiet ya'll -- and hello to my new followers! I've been pretty busy with IRL, going through PT and trying to do responsible adult things and all that fun stuff.

I've broken through my writer's block that was murdering me for over a year straight, and it's felt amazing to be getting words down on paper and screen again.

Happy to be back to writing. I am going to get more chapters published to Travel Buddies this year, that's my goal dangit!

Anyhow, back to war with writer's block. I've broken through, and it's still dragging on kind of slow, but words are going down on paper. Onwards!

Rough Animation Sequence; Clara's Mecha/Jet Transformation

So while the MAGICAL GIRL TRANSFORMATION memery I wanted to draw won't happen in my story, it was way too much fun to draw.

This is actually my second time drawing this... my first attempt had a much better jet form / transformation sequence to jet, but this one is an overall smoother animation (the program crashed and I lost all thirty seven of the original frames, sadface)

First one also had a different angle; Clara transformed into a mech, then fired a hand-cannon at the viewer and walked off to the side as it approached the viewer, then exploded off-screen while she transformed into a jet and spiraled away. I'll have to sit down and actually design her jet form, but this is my rough draft woooo!
