WRITER GOALS WOOOOOO! 300k+ words!
This is from the document for Travel Buddies, book one.
It's been my goal for a long time, to write a story more than 300,000 words long. I finally reached that goal this week! And I'm quite proud of this tale. It's the best work of my writing, hands-down, and my first cohesive, novel length story. And I'm still writing! :D
Anyhow, sorry I've been so quiet ya'll -- and hello to my new followers! I've been pretty busy with IRL, going through PT and trying to do responsible adult things and all that fun stuff.
I've broken through my writer's block that was murdering me for over a year straight, and it's felt amazing to be getting words down on paper and screen again.
Happy to be back to writing. I am going to get more chapters published to Travel Buddies this year, that's my goal dangit!
Anyhow, back to war with writer's block. I've broken through, and it's still dragging on kind of slow, but words are going down on paper. Onwards!
Behind the Scenes: Gladiators of Kaon
The things that I spend hours and hours and hours writing that very few if anyone else ever sees; ya'll see the finished result in published chapters :3
Not -all- my stories have plot docs, but most of them do (read: once the story gets long enough I can't healthily re-read it in one sitting before writing new chapters)
Gladiators of Kaon had a plot doc like. i m m e d i a t e l y because I knew I was gonna dig in super deep into the nitty gritty of ecology and politics and the geography of the land, so keeping my shit straight so I didn't fuck up details as the story gets longer is a must.
Someday I might get around to actually properly organizing this monster of random author notes but in the mean time pattern within the chaos is my vibe ~@~

i keep wanting to write but i can’t because im stopping myself somehow from writing and I don’t know if it’s because I’m scared to finish this draft or just scared of what comes after or scared that I’ll have to stop again because I feel like I never have the time but it’s awful
im writing a little bit each day but it’s not MY wip or my current project and it just gets a little bit harder
but im going to get back into it, one because i want to, and two because i owe it to myself
So I apparently really enjoy writing headcanons for my ocs. It's a good way to organize my thoughts on certain concepts or characters without giving everything away. So I plan on doing more of those.
I also hope to publish at least one reader insert story. I've never done one so it'll be a first for me. I don't even know what fandom I want to write it for. Eh. I'll figure it out.

Okay you guys have no idea how many ranting threads I have going with my friend. The Good Place, Doctor Who, The Umbrella Academy, etc. They're pretty chill. I have so many ideas but so little time.
Raise your hand if you hate small talk but would push through a crowd to listen to someone ramble about something they're actually passionate about.

Friendly note that i would love to talk about my ocs, so if you wanna hmu with any questions, i will love you forever. I’m about to be bored in lectures and would love some of brain work. So give me questions or heck I’ll even try head canons. Please I’d appreciate some help character building.
Okay so this is a plea by me. I want to try something even if it's just the once. I want to try writing an imagine. Only issue is I have no ideas. So I'm asking for some requests. Odd are Ill do whoever's comes in first because I have essays due this weekend. But please I want to test my short writing abilities.
If you do send in a request please keep to my blogs theme and keep it platonic. I'm best at child reader stuff. I'm surronded by kids in my real life.

I really do have way too many story ideas in my head. Not enough time to write full stories for them all though. Which is disappointing. So I have characters for Criminal Minds, Good Place, Umbrella Academy, BBC Sherlock, Ducktales, Steven Universe, Once Upon a Time, Spider-man, Avengers, Percy Jackson, and It. Of course if memory serves correctly they’re all platonic. I’m thinking headcanons will have to do I do quite enjoy writing them.
