Had a lot of fun drawing in this style, despite the inconveniences that happened inbetween! War is by far the hardest to draw in my opinion, so starting with him was kind of a test to see if I was up for the challenge. I'm really proud of the end result :)

Life of Agony is an Alternative Metal band from Brooklyn, NYC that formed in 1989. Their debut album River Runs Red was released in 1993, a concept album that focuses on suicide while exploring the themes of abuse, alcoholism, and abandonment.

It’s very much an album of its time, what with its almost grunge-like vocals and groove metal-ish guitars and bass. While I have not listened to the album whole way through, though from what I have listened to, I will say it has a number of very well put together songs, even if I find some a bit uninteresting to listen to at points just based on how the vocals are delivered.

I forgot of her existence, not sorry.
