Ive Been Listening To This Band Quite A Bit Lately. They Have What A Sound That I Think Is Quite Distinct
I’ve been listening to this band quite a bit lately. They have what a sound that I think is quite distinct to them. Sadly, this is the groups only officially released album, though their second album has been circulating around online for years.
The way they do the whole “vocal tag team” will lead to comparisons to Linkin Park but considering both DWR and LP have demo tapes going back to 1996-1997, it’s more likely just a case of two groups just happening to have the same idea around the same time frame.

Day 5: Crossover (Darksiders x Hades)

Death but if he were in Hades. Or literally just dressed up in Charon (ish) clothing and wielding Thanatos's scythe. The excerpt above is in reference to the Lucifer aspect you can unlock for the Adamant Rail. I thought it was super cool that Supergiant included a lot of mythological beings outside of Ancient Greece. Gets me hyped for some 'part 2' of some kind lol.
Anyway, I was going to draw Death in Thanatos's armor cus both are 'death' but I think Charon is more closely related to Death's character so voila! And ofc I had to put in a tiddy window. Can't draw Death without them big honkers at least peeking🤪

Honestly, this is one of my favorite songs by Suicidal Tendencies. I feel this song, while quite dark lyrically, is pretty funny. The way Mike Muir delivers the vocals along with the way the instruments are played just adds a bit of a comedic edge to it. Robert Trujillo’s opening bassline leading into Rocky George’s amazing guitar is a great opening to the track. When Puddle of Mudd made “She Hates Me,” do you think Scantlin had this or L7′s “Pretend We’re Dead” on the mind.
On an entirely different note, anybody who’s into The Owl House think this song could become something like a lullaby on the Boiling Isles?
It’s a genuine shame that more people don’t read comics. Like even beyond the constant frustration of seeing widely-popular fandom misconceptions everywhere, comics are such a fun and enjoyable medium. There’s decades worth of richness compounded into these characters and just so much passion and creativity that goes into continuing their legacies. And yeah, comics can be difficult to get into or the worst thing that you’ve ever read, but they have tons of good content and are absolutely worth giving a try.
