If you are into rock and metal, this is an album to check out. Believe it or not, my grandfather is the drummer in this band. I believe he is the one that says “call 911″ at the end of one of the songs.
I’ve been listening to this band quite a bit lately. They have what a sound that I think is quite distinct to them. Sadly, this is the groups only officially released album, though their second album has been circulating around online for years.
The way they do the whole “vocal tag team” will lead to comparisons to Linkin Park but considering both DWR and LP have demo tapes going back to 1996-1997, it’s more likely just a case of two groups just happening to have the same idea around the same time frame.
Anybody else ever hear of something and then go look for it, and when you find it, you wish you found it sooner. Like, who would have imagined Christopher Lee would make not one but multiple metal albums.
One of my favorite songs by Klayton. Yes, Klayton. Celldweller is the name of the project. Other projects he has are Scandroid, Circle of Dust, and FreqGen.
This is a song that tells the story of man who is obsessed with a woman who only exists in a virtual reality. Going to the YouTube video, that top comment, made by someone going by twinfyre, explains this song better than I can.
The female vocals being provided by Fluffy Starr, who I would guess hasn’t done much since I can’t find much information on anything she has done. Her parts in the song aren’t big, but they work perfectly for what the song itself is going for.
