Let me put on my til foil hat as I say the countdown could be a distraction. From what? Solving greater codes.

Alex knows his audience is smart, so why did he make this so easy to find?

Why didn't the timer glitch out before Soos showed up? Surely enough traffic brought in by people watching the countdown should’ve crashed it, right?

Alex Hirsch could’ve labeled it as “lost files” to intrigue us enough to focus solely on what could lie after the countdown (or, rather countup now).

I have some confidence that there is something the website has to offer, but sitting here for so long has made me question things.

Have you ever loved a character to the point your brain makes you think you are them and doing any basic task is embarrassing to the point you have to repeatedly tell yourself you’re not them?

Or is that just me.
