Got some new books that I’m ecstatic to crack open! I followed this story years ago when it was still in its early days on the internet, and I’m so excited that it’s now not only three books long, but in physical form! It’s so inspiring to see the story come so far!

So I was chatting to @kazinsblog one night about my spider cat boy au Web of Truth and talking about the design and the shenanigans that will eventually happen.

And then to my immense surprise, look what she came back with!

They are all so cute!!! I adore them all!

Oh? I didn’t expect to get asked this. But hey! I’m happy to answer!

1. I like that I was able to pursue a career that I’ve wanted to do since I was young. I’m now an archaeologist and have worked at a few really important sites.

2. I’m super proud of being aromantic and asexual. Love and passion hold no power over me so I’m unstoppable.

3. I often surprise myself with how much I’ve created in terms of fanfics. I pushed past my distaste of writing and have made so many stories that would have otherwise just sat in my mind for only me to enjoy. But now I can share them with the fandoms!

4. I like that I generally can keep a positive attitude about things about 80% of the time. I try to help uplift people and be supportive and I hope to continue as long as I can.

5. I can drive stick shift. Not many can claim that anymore.

The constant fic writer struggle.

There’s the “I know I can take my time with my stories. People understand and it’s better for both the fics and my brain if I don’t rush.” side.

But then there’s also the “WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG TO DO?! I’ve made several chapters in the span of a week before! Why is it so hard now? And I’m making people wait! I don’t want to disappoint them or make them think I forgot about the fic!” side.

It’s a frequent battle in my mind.
