I hate when people says that Adam (2009) is a bad representation of autism ; we’re all different and autism is a very large spectrum, adam IS realistic, it maybe does not match YOUR perception of autism but it IS a great representation. There’s a lot of things I related to and some I didn’t, but overall I don’t think it should be considered as a bad movie, because it certainly is not. The real problem in it is the pairing, adam did not find anyone that truly understands him and the end clearly shows that Beth was CLEARLY not a nice match for him, and he’s definitely going to have a way better relationship with the box girl at the end since they have the same passion about space and stuff. Beth and all the other people around him mostly did not make any effort in understanding him and NO the movie doesn’t mean that autistic people are unable of being in healthy relationships, just that if they’re not with someone that understands them, it is not going to work. Anyways, I loved Adam.

Ghouls and goulettes -> Headcanons of them as monsters!!

There’s my interpretation on how ghouls could look like and live like if they were some fantastic spooky monsters like werewolves or vampires.

I will probably later on draw some of the band members the way I picture them as that, so feel free to do the same and tell me what you think!! I just did that for fun since I wanted to make some ghoul and Ghoulettes ocs.

How they’d look like :

- grey-ish skin. Can be darker or lighter and have marks, freekles, tattoos and all that.

- Horns. Can be slightly different in form, length and color. Always in grey-ish tones. If they’re not then it isn’t natural and they changed it themselves. They can be like mountain’s ; with different black and white patterns on the horns ; doesn’t have to be only one colour.

- (Grey-ish means everything on a B&W scale.)

- Eyes. Can be all black, can be all white, can be pretty much anything as long as it feels right.

- Teeth. Most ghouls got nice fangs like bats. Teeth can be different depending on the ghoul as well.

- Tails. Most ghouls have tails that they hide in their pants when they perform on stage. They can have different forms and patterns like horns ; it just has to look natural.

- Nails/claws. Ghouls can get their nails to work kinda like claws. A bit useless but hey. Ghouls kinda reminds me of cats somehow so I won’t be surprised if they purred and hissed as well.

- Ears. They’re mostly pointy but their form differs depending on the ghoul.

- Feets. Actually no, they don’t got feets, they got paws. Paws are cuter than feets. Yes.

- Hair. Natural ghoul hair colour always have a little bit of a grey-ish tone but aren’t necessarily on a B&W scale even though they’re not very colourful still. Hair type can really be anything.

- wings. I love the idea of ghouls and Ghoulettes having wings, like bat wings. But it doesn’t seems practical. So I guess they can retract them however they want or something. Why couldn’t they.

How they’d live :

Ghouls live in the dark. The light isn’t much good for them, kinda like vampires. They eat like bats so some need fruits and other only meat or blood, it just depends of their needs. They live hidden of humans, mostly in pretty bad conditions. They’re mostly scared or angry at humans since they’ve always been badly treated by them.

Some ghouls and Ghoulettes are saved by papas and live in a huge abbey in a place where it’s always dark outside. Not all of them play instruments or are in the band. They all love their papa so playing in the band with him is kind of a goal for lots of them but it’s not an easily accessible position obviously. Some ghoulettes became sisters in the abbey. Playing in the band is an amazing opportunity for them but it’s also very difficult since they have to wear a costume that protect them from the sun or from humans to see them. They make their skin look human-like on some stage but the sun still hurts them a bit so they mostly play in the dark with artificial light. For them, playing in the band not only allows them to be close to papa but also to see humans treat them like they’re so cool while they usually hate ghouls and ghoulettes when they don’t have their costume on.

The abbey, papa’s satanism and the songs brings them comfort and home. Living at the abbey or at papa’s side as a ghoul or Ghoulette is a huge privilege since being one isn’t all fun games since they’re mostly seen as invasive nasty stuff like bats and rats by humans and every other creature. Rats and bats loves ghouls. All other animals either die, get mean or run away when they’re close. Sometimes plants also die when they’re close, which makes them sad but it’s not always the case.

I have thought of the greatest Lovebug headcanon (it's actually my first Lovebug headcanon actually lmao ☠️)

BUT IMAGINE THIS

Imagine this.

(also let's assume that this concept is before the Stannarrator ship sailed in your AU :D)

Imagine the Lovebug Virus only going away once it is "satisfied." Like, a certain switch has to be flicked; a certain figurative button has to be pushed. Imagine the virus slowly showing hints to what the other person — in this case, it'll be Stanley — needs to do for it to go away.

Imagine that the only way to satisfy it is to kiss Luxie.

But Stanley can't do that! Luxie is only acting this way because of the virus! Kissing him would just be taking advantage of him, wouldn't it?

But here's the thing; Lovebug!Pollux is extremely affectionate. He's been hugging Stanley out of the blue a lot, holding his hand a bunch, kissing his cheek/s anytime he can, and everything similar. LB!Pollux does all of this, not expecting anything else in return.

Imagine Stanley deciding to return the affection one day.

And, it turns out, the virus can be satisfied that way; but it takes way longer than it would be to just kiss him.

But Stanley doesn't know how to kiss so he just decides to continue returning the affectionate gestures

And this goes on for several months. It started off as LB!Luxie doing the gestures first, then Stanley returnung them with little to no questions asked. Then it moved to LB!Luxie just moving closer to Stanley, and Stanley deciding to take the initiative to do the gestures. And then, it moved to both Stanley and LB!Luxie flat-out hugging and cuddling and holding hands and etc etc anytime they could.

And by the time the Lovebug Virus is gone, all the affectionate gestures turn into unconscious habits.

But Luxie — the actual Luxie — isn't used to that.

So everytime Stanley hugs him and holds him and takes his hand and etc etc, Luxie doesn't even know how to react without the Lovebug Virus controlling his every reaction. He's basically left a blushing and flustered mess because of Stanley.

In short: At first, LB!Luxie showed Stanley a bunch of love and affection. Stanley slowly got used to it and even started to return the gestures. By the time the Lovebug Virus is gone, Stanley is already used to showing so much affection, but Luxie isn't, and is now having to go through what Stanley did during his time with LB!Luxie :D

I forgot how this was meant to play out but I wanted to share this with you mwahahahaha

(Also, I feel like psychoanalyzing a random ending, soooooo do tell me any ending at all [including Bucket variants] so that I can watch playthroughs of the chosen ending and proceed to rant about what I found interesting hehe >:])

First off, this is hilarious and I love it so much. One reason is cuz I already headcanoned the lovebug taking place before they got together lmao. It just cracks me up think how awkward they would be afterwards, realizing how they acted while under the influence. It's so funny.

Also this is just such a fun lovebug concept. I just love the idea of Stanley being like "Well obviously I can't just kiss him. Guess we gotta do this the long way!" Both of them are so stupid (affectionate).

Anyways, this was an absolute delight to read, it would probably make a really good fic even. Here's a little doodle, I couldn't help myself, I just wanted to draw a flustered Stanley after reading this lol.

As for a random ending for you to analyze..... hmmmm...... how about the Infinite Hole? Lmao. I just love playing that ending, it's so funny.
