Drift just can’t see him.

Because Rodimus is dead too.

Rodimus died a long time ago.

After the crew disbanded and after he became a drunk, Rodimus got bad, really bad.

and eventually, he died.

He felt himself online without clear memory thinking he was still alive only for Drift and Ratchet to go through him.

He’s been there with them from the moment he died to this very moment now as Drift curses him and cries.

He can do nothing but watch and crouch by his side staying with him.

He figured this was his punishment.

To suffer watching the ones he loved so close but so far.

He figures he deserves this too.

What he wouldn’t give to bring Ratchet back and have Drift be happy.

All he can do is unknowingly be beside him and stay bound to his spark until the day Drift dies.

He already felt half himself go when Ratchet died.

Its only time and patience until Drift will one day too offline.

Sometimes even a medic deserves to sleep in...

how do people make those nice-looking sketch/doodle canvases?? the ones i usually see are like a full colored version of that character and like several uncolored and messy sketches of that character. i like messy, its pleasing to my eyes, i like them.

i cant make those things. its either i sketch a very small sketch on one canvas and make a new one for another or i make one but they're all colored, neat, spaced out, and/or unrelated to each other.

look at this as an example. all neat, all spaced out. one of them is actually a design on a personal pin i made and 60% of the space isn't even used up??? and i dont ever draw on this thing ever again??? yeah, pretty aesthetically pleasing, probably one of my best doodle canvases because it follows a color theme, but do you want to see another doodle canvas?

this canvas is literally just me editing shattered glass drift to look like lightning mcqueen and some small teeny drift doodle with a twist. everything else is plain old WHITE. i dont draw on this anymore nor do i tamper with it.

Initially I thought they were like angel wings (which yeah, they are) and it's great symbolism because of his whole false Prime thing. He has this façade about being a noble leader and all that and he probably thinks that he's Primus' gift to the universe. The Devil disguised as an angel. Or something something the Devil was once the most beautiful angel of all. Idk lotsa places you can go with the angel symbolism.

HOWEVER

They're GOLDEN. You know who else had golden wings? Icarus. Who flew too close to the sun. Who's entire myth is about hubris and how pride can be your undoing. Does that sound familiar to you guys???

Sentinel flew too close to the sun believing that he could kill the Primes and seize all that wealth and power with no consequence. He thought that he was sooo great and nothing bad would ever happen to him because he won!!! And then he got too comfortable and sloppy and everything he built fell apart in just one day.
