MAG 100 Was Either A Really Good Ep Showing A Snapshot Of All The People Dealing With Different Fears
MAG 100 was either a really good ep showing a snapshot of all the people dealing with different Fears or was just a vent ep about dealing with the general public…or both, I’m undecided
like between the “oh I saw a ghost that burned me but ehh I just went back to sleep” and “the government are running experiments in an abandoned tube” I was speechless

literally it’s like oh I can watch any number of straight rom coms and princess films and teen books where a guy and a girl like each other in a purely cisgender and heterosexual way and that’s fine, obviously. But oh no I saw two guys (or girls) kiss in like (1) piece of media?? oh no someone was trans??
It goes back to the whole thing about straight being the default and LGBTQ+ relationships being seen as “other” and “abnormal” and “unnatural” and “wrong” and all the other shit. And it’s all BS, because I’ve talked previously about having zero representation/exposure growing up and yk what I still turned out queer, so.
And to anyone out there who media has helped them realise their identity, that’s entirely valid!! Representation helps all of us to see ourselves and learn more about ourselves and that’s why it’s so important <3
I hate when people goes like "You shouldn't let your children watch LGBTQ+media because that will turn them LGBTQ+" because wtf?? First, you don't "turn" LGBTQ+. You just are. You were born like that. Watching LGBT shows doesn't make a kid be LGBTQ+because yes. If that was true, then a lot of people should be straight yes or yes because they only watched shows with straight couples and no LGBTQ+couples. But the thing is that there are children who watched straight couples in fiction and are LGBTQ+. So your argument makes no sense. And that without counting that if watching a show with LGBTQ+ people "turns" you LGBTQ+ then watching shows with murder turns you a murderer, and that's definitely not true.
Magnus Fans will say “The Magnus Archives is an office comedy” or “The Magnus Protocol is a polyamorous romcom” and then you have them talking about it and they go
