Okay. so. This. Multiplayer is kinda like a IRL sort of fic (they all have their channels, dream smp is canon but in the minecraft roleplay sense) ??? Basically Bench Trio make a band as a joke (but while faceless) but then it actually gets famous (Apparently Purpled was in it before but then when he updated his boundaries about not wanting any IRL fics of him out there it just changed it to bench trio only??)

But so uh. I don't usually read IRL sort of fics but like. I discovered this fic from an animation that was recommended to me on YT

It's really good and I'd recommend giving it a watch afterwards!

BUT. So. HOLY FUCKING SHIT- I don't know, I just. I think it unlocked a newfound interest for me because I just really fuckin like the band AU and I like music and people making it, and I was just so obsessed with them posting because like WOOO it just made me really happy :D

It's more on the fluffy side and isn't really angsty?? The farthest it gets is kinda light ?? It's usually just kinda anxiety sort of stuff and worries, not necessarily anything like intense hatred and backfire-age (I mean there are hate comments BUT literally everything has hate comments- it doesnt play that big of a role)

so I really liked it.

It was certainly interesting how they decided to do a face reveal, and how they'd announce it?? I mean c'mon, at the end of a cover and then showing all three of them with cool masks on and then taking it off but before anyone can see their face it cuts to black and then it gives a link to their twitch acc that theyre gonna stream their face reveal?

No but honestly I'm the type of viewer who'd probably somewhat enjoy it but not really stick around for every type of video (and therefore would miss the stream lmaoo)

But I also like how they decided to add twitter threads of people discussing it and just like how others are interacting with each other, the addition of a group chat where it shows their text messages to each other, and also NEWS ARTICLES???? And it does the thing where it shows the title and then there's also the bottom part of whats written in it BUT its pretty short like how when youre just looking at the links on like google and it shows like a small sample of whats in it???

its just so fucking cool man

id really recommend giving it a try even if it doesnt really seem like your cup of tea because you never really know??

I might not read other fics like this though since I usually just read like DSMP, or like those SuperHero AU fics (I'm sorry, its probably so fucking overrated lmao, I actually dont do a review over every fic I read because I kinda just save them for the ones that I think a lot of people could like, and its not a dead dove do not eat. I do read those, but I dont do reviews over them because they get triggering as fuck to some and I really don't wanna do a fic where I don't give enough warnings?? And I don't do it over Superhero fics because it just really reaches lol, and I know a lot of fanfics do that, but its not really a thing I want to do lol. I also will probably only do it over already completed fics usually because I will binge them, because other fics that I'm still waiting to be completed I will just forget what happens and then the review turns out not the best??? I also kinda try to stick to fics that have a lot of chapters, or arent oneshots)

do give it a try though? if you have any recommendations for any other fics tho lemme know

okay okay so spoilers. Even if youve read King of Scars because honestly, I cant remember what stuff is from what because its been like, what, a year i think or something since ive read it so just grishaverse stuff

i dont know what stuff i havent read, ive read the Shadow and Bone trilogy, Six of Crows trilogy, and I've read King of Scars - ALSO i have like this book on the saints (WAIT APPARENTLY RULE OF WOLVES IS THE LAST BOOK?? WAIT IT WAS A SEQUEL TO KING OF SCARS? hold up i never knew that )

Unrelated thought but the story made me cry once, I think it was the last book of the Shadow and Bone trilogy but like.. Alina I think like flinched when Mal(thats his name right.-) went to kiss her because she saw the Darkling (and shes the only one who can because theyre the.. opposites of each other in a way with their power except the Darkling has more experience and age against her in which she has power amplifiers)

Mari & Aubrey Hair Dye Headcanon / OMORI

so I havent been in the Omori community in awhile BUT

i just came to a realization

a friend asked how Aubrey got enough cash to dye her hair pink and it just hit me that maybe Mari and Aubrey were saving up to be able to dye their hair, because I believe Mari had wanted to dye her hair purple and Aubrey wanted to dye her hair pink. It was I think stated somewhere in the photo texts?? Yes, I read those. ..Unless I'm remembering wrong..?

It's very possible, considering that they all had saved up to get enough money for a violin for Sunny's birthday I think too (In one of the photos), so then they could've also saved up to get hair dye,

Half Minds / Double Life & Hermitcraft Fanfic / Thoughts

Okay. so.

this fic. Honestly? It's the concept that I love. It's some of the red lifers from Double Life (aka the end? but there isn't everyone ofc.) And then somehow the dimensions of Double Life & Hermitcraft Season 7 combine, replacing their own counterparts there, like say, Red Life Grian appearing and Hermitcraft Grian being nowhere to be seen (aka disappearing for like a few weeks or something)

There aren't any two red lifers I think that are paired, like Red Life Grian is there without his Scar, Martyn without his Cleo, Joel (even tho he isnt a Hermit) without his Etho, etc etc

It's.. interesting.

The Red Lifers having this sort of urge, and absolute love of murder and chaos is just, YES, not to mention Pearl kinda being the one to instigate that by reminding of the THRILL of killing.

Also how the Red Lifers can hear assumedly the watchers? Like voices in their head. Who wouldn't go insane? (There's something too possibly about Pearl having heard them since she was green too but I won't go into that)

And then there's also the factor that Pearl's probably always on edge? I mean, well, she's the hermit counterpart of her soulmate duo. Scott is in Empires, not Hermitcraft. Also Tilly's gone, sobs.

I think she's the only one who doesn't have a hermit version of their soulmate ngl

But so they're just kinda.. causing a little bit of chaos, while finding someone who apparently knows of the Double Lifers and about their soulmates and such- I won't go into too much detail besides just providing little things here because I don't want to spoil it, but it's kinda looking promising.

honestly, I just.

This story introduced me to ciphers and honestly a few of them are my favorite, and while some I can't actually remember the name of at all, it's easy to understand the basic idea and I like that at times it goes step by step when deciphering things, like it shows you when you do one thing and it also shows you what clues say so you can try to figure it out but be kinda a little clueless like the characters until they figure it out in a way thats a little complex, but in a way that you the reader can understand and not get lost or overwhelmed.

bro benedict man- sobbing. i didnt know him for long but i got attached. AND THEN HE HIT CHRIS AND IT CONFUSED ME SO BADLY because while i know that its common benedict doesnt do that to chris and then like AND THEN HE WAS DEAD AND WE LEARN THAT HE DID IT FOR CHRIS' SAFETY- I CANT. THIS MAN IS SO FUCKING SELFLESS

chris and tom are pretty young i believe. i dont think we ever got an explicit age but like.. what the fuck? so much stuff happened. so they encounter.. heaven fire thing i dont know- it was like this special type of fire that Benedict was trying to hide but like they got attacked (even though i believe it was trapped) and i just O W and jeez. haha nothing else will totally go wrong then theres like this group of scammers scamming people during the plague and chris and tom of course get involved in it. I mean they solve it eventually after a scare and.. but.. IM PRETTY SURE SOMEONE GOT STABBED (and if im not wrong diED???) FOR THEM sobbing later they discover a persons dead body? i think one of them almost got strangled to death or something i dont know but i just i WHAT they stop this assassin? i think that was trying to kill the thing (i think one of them threw something at the king to stop him from drinking a poisoned drink???)- i think Christopher was at knife point at one point, though I dont remember if it was somewhere at this part or not but i- WHAT and then lets not even TALK about how Christopher lost his memory when he fell off a boat due to a storm i think, and like another time shot at with arrows, SHOT AT WITH BULLETS OR SOMETHING BY THESE LIKE PIRATE PEOPLE-- and they saved like kidnapped children and i just wh AT a LOT happened. and there were STILL puzzles and it wasnt overwhelming, and I actually really liked it and how the author decided to write it like Its gold. i would recommend giving it a read if you like ciphers and puzzles n stuff and just mystery- The story is set in the old times in the UK, England I believe i dont know why im putting the recommendation here at the end when people who assumedly havent read it wont read down to this point lmAO
