Today’s Word #13 : Stay In Sync

Have you ever tried something and got the results you wanted and then tried the same thing again and got different results? This happened to Moses in the Bible. They needed water and God told Moses to strike the rock. He struck the rock and water flowed out freely. Another time they needed water again, and God told Moses, “Speak to the rock.” Do you know what Moses did? He went over and struck the rock. He thought, “Hey, it worked last time. It’ll work this time.” But it didn’t. God had a different plan.

The point is that we have to stay open and make adjustments to stay in tune with God’s plan. You can do the same thing the same way you did last time and get different results. It may not be something major, but like Moses, maybe it’s just something small. Sometimes a small tweak, a small adjustment can make a major difference in the outcome.

Today, make sure you aren’t doing things just because it’s the way you always did it before. Instead, listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit of God inside. Follow His leading and stay in sync with the wonderful plan He has for you!

Okay, this time I just want to share steps on “How To Change A Tire”. I got this tips from wiki how, and I seriously think it is useful and important for each of us to know this. And I will share a short story about me doing this job by my self.

My car has been parked at the house for a week, and it’s been driving me insane, because I have been so busy and I need my car, and I don’t want to depend on my brother too much by driving his car, because I know he needs it too. I only live with my little brother at home, who is currently not able to help me change the tire due to post-extraction of his right thumb nail. So basically he can not do much job with his both hands, and it is too bad for me, because he is the only one who always help me around when it comes to changing a tire.

So because I seriously need my car back to its normal function again, I decided to change the tire all by my self. I have seen people doing it many times, and I am pretty sure I know the steps, so I gave it a try. And I honestly am proud of my self, because I really could do that, of course with some sweat on my face and painful hands and arms, plus lots of dirt on my both hands and legs. It was like one of my biggest accomplishment in mechanical thing. And next time if I find a flat tire on my car, I think I will feel pretty confident to just change it by my self. Well, maybe no... It is just too tiring and painful for a girl. I just hope next time I have a flat tire again, my brother is available to help me out again, just like usual.
