Been absent, now I’m back

It has been more than a month since the last time I posted a note on my tumblr page. And I know it is not a new record, I have been absent for a longer time before, but still I missed doing my tumblr routine here. I love tumblr! And I love my own page...

I know I don’t have to talk about why I have been absent from my tumblr activity here (since no body on tumblr really cares – lol), but it is my page so let me share some reasons. I promise it won’t be long, I will make it clear and as short as possible...

First thing is that I actually have done my “co-assistant” program, as part of my education here in Faculty of Medicine, Sam Ratulangi University, since 21st June 2015 and my beloved faculty has given me and other colleagues our degree as a Medical Doctor since 15th July 2015. And since that day I was very busy, preparing myself to take The National Competency Examination, an exam to determine if we – fresh graduates are competence enough to use our degree officially to practice as a medical doctor, which means I am not officially a doctor if I don’t pass the National Competency Examination, and yes I can use my degree as I want but really can’t do much about it.

The examination are held on 22nd August and 29th August 2015, it has two parts which are separately held: firstly the CBT (Computer Based Test) to test our knowledge about Medicine in MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions), and secondly the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) to test our individual clinical skill and ability in diagnose and therapy with patients. So I have to pass all of them to get my clinical practice license as a doctor. That is the reason why I was very busy with my life from June until August. I had to prepare my self, even studied in a group every night and day (I studied with my 7 other friends), also studied individually, and more important – prayed every night and day, just like The Bible teach us to pray and work.

I have all my praise and worship to God whom I serve, because all the hard works are paid off eventually, the results were announced online on 25th September and I passed the examination. I give all the credits to my One and Only Creator, who always keeps His promise. I am happy and so thankful that I finally pass the test, I also feel happy for my friends who pass but also feel sorry for my other friend (we worked hard together) who didn’t pass.

I still have my other reasons honestly why I have been absent for a long time on my tumblr, but I have promised to keep this note short. So I think this note is enough for today. I need to do other things this afternoon. I will just talk about it next time on my other post (when I get the chance to). :)
