just noticed that gideon pronounces nevada as nev-AD-a in no way out and im choosing to believe he pronounced it as nev-AH-da until he met reid and nearly got murdered by him for pronouncing it WRONG!!!

thinking about derek's relationship with the kids in his neighbourhood

Outside during the day, a fence and schoolbus behind them, a man wearing a black jacket over a black shirt faces a young boy wearing black and white, only his back visible. Reid wakes up after an explosion and realises he’s lost the last 4 years of his memory. The team helps him to adapt, but he can’t help feeling like there’s something being kept from him.

He remembers Morgan lifting him clear off the round in a hug; bruised, alive, heart thundering against Reid’s chest. He remembers wanting to kiss him. He remembers the regret that he didn’t.

“Hey,” Morgan says. Reid looks up, not realising Morgan has gotten so close to him. “You okay?”

“I, um. I was remembering New York.”
