My favorite part about the asoiaf fandom is that everybody has spend years theorizing about who could be a Targaryen based off only small bits of proof and when grrm was like “here you go have Aegon!!” Everybody said “fake”.

People who say “Theon isn’t a Greyjoy he’s one of the Starks bc his family cast him aside and he grew up in the North” and people who say “Theon is a Greyjoy not a Stark he was just a hostage and his betrayal was justified” are both equally WRONG because both families treated him like shit and he was only part of their family’s to them when it was convenient and neither deserve him.
