1) Hmm, there are quite a few of them. If you remember the first thing that comes to mind, it will be:

Beholder (game)

Pizza Tower (I'm here now)

Don't Starve Together

Jackie Chan Adventure

Sonic

2) Usually my favorite characters are charismatic, strong, funny, and smart person. Sometimes with notes of cruelty and rudeness. That's probably what inspires me.

He loves himself in any body.

I thought about it when I drew a laughing Pizzahead. Although his laugh is not so soft, it is always sincere.

Pizzahead calms Fake Peppino when he finds him in the tunnel. The mimic trembles and worries, sometimes making inhuman noises, and it took some time for him to pay attention to his "boss". At first, Fake Peppino almost crushed PH with his body, but then he settled on the floor next to the wall.

While Peppino is fighting with his ptsd (War), Pizzahead sits with a "big, not scary toad" next to him (PH literally put Feppino's huge paw on his feet, stroking sticky unstable skin) until he shrinks to his normal size and calms down.

When Feppino shrank, he still lay at the feet of the Pizzahead for a while, until he finally came to his senses.

I think about all those drawings from people about the Fake Peppino's self-esteem, but I've never seen the concept described below (or I didn't search well)

Fake Peppino avoids turning into his giant form. And in general, he tries not to be nervous and not to think too much, so as not to trigger the transformation. It is very painful physically and mentally for him. He would have hidden in dark corners to calm down. The only exception to the transformation is when something threatens him.
