Sanzu’s life never really had peace in it. Even when he was a child. And now all he could ever think about were blood, death, adrenaline, cigarettes and drugs. But there was you. There was always you he could find peace in.

Wind caresses your face as you look at the tall abandoned building in front of you. Sanzu always called you at the most awkward and worst moments. Just twenty minutes ago you were running away from the police, the cops tailing right behind you. Luckily you knew your way around, spending your time in the streets of Tokyo more than your own home. So it was easy to outsmart the cops and get back to your small and lonely apartment. But before you could close your eyes and calm down from all of the adrenaline, maybe even smoke a blunt, your phone vibrated informing you about a message.

Sighing, you put your car keys into your pocket and enter the building. It was eerily quiet, but Sanzu was never a loud person. He was a trouble maker, that’s for sure, but with you he could chill out and relax for a minute. He never said it out loud, but you were his safe space. You climb the cement stairs and reach the roof. Sanzu was laying on the floor, looking up to the stars. There was a blanket put on the floor and you noticed his hair was all messy and not tied up. Without saying a word you lie down next to him and also take a look at the sky. The stars were shining brightly and it was a full moon.

“Rough day?” You ask and sit up, stretching your arms. Sanzu had a couple of bruises on his face, you noticed. A frown forms on your face as you try to identify what caused them. It didn’t look like they were formed because of a fist.

“Yeah. The battle of the Three Deities happened today.” He takes a puff from the cigarette, laying between two of his long fingers which were littered with little scars.

“Hm..” you nod. “Man, that’s fucked up. Wasn’t it supposed to happen later on?” You shake your head and take out a blunt out of your pocket and put it in your mouth. “How was it?”

“We won.” He smirks. “South is dead. Fucker got killed by Mikey.” A quiet ‘ah’ leaves your mouth and you let out a content sigh after finding the black lighter you carried around in the pocket of your jacket. “Rokuhara Tandai belongs to Mikey now. Brahman lost to South and then disbanded in the end to make Mikey spare Takemitchy.” He stops looking at the stars and glances at your now sitting figure. “How have you been? Haven’t seen you in a while.”

“The usual. Selling drugs, tryin’ to make money.” You take a hit from the blut and look at Sanzu’s eyes. “I like your eyes.” You squint a bit. “They’re a pretty colour. ‘M jealous.”

The first time you met Sanzu was a complete accident. You were walking back home after a “meeting” with a client. He bought a lot of your shit and you were glad. You finally had the money for the car you wanted to buy for a while now. Though your peaceful walk was interrupted soon. Yelling could be heard from around the corner. You were never the one to think too much about the consequences of your actions and lived in the moment. So without even thinking you took a peek at what was happening. A tall guy with pink hair was backed into a wall and there was a knife pressed to his neck. The guy holding the knife looked pretty beat up. The tall dude could easily kick him away,but the knife was too close to his throat and it would leave a serious cut. One thing lead to another and your gun was pressed to the man’s head, making him drop the knife. Sanzu beat up the man and then introduced himself to you. And that was the start of your friendship.

“Whatever.” Sanzu let’s out a quiet noise of dissaproval and looks back at the sky. Though his ears were now a burning red colour. He was glad it was dark, otherwise you would’ve noticed how your comment made him feel. He was beating himself up for letting himself fall for you. Neither of you lived safe lives, putting yourselves in danger every day. And not only that, you were like a distraction for him. Always on his mind. He couldn’t disappoint Mikey by not concentrating on his work. People were also getting curious on why he spent so much time with you. He didn’t want to put you in more danger, the fear of other gangs attacking you clouded his mind. So he used the only excuse he could ever think of. You were a drug dealer and he was a drug addict. He needed you to provide him with drugs and you needed him for money.

“You okay?” You tilt your head to the side, while blowing out pretty white smoke out of your parted lips. And Sanzu swears he never wanted anything more than to grab your face and kiss you. Buy instead he just let’s out a quiet hum and nods. “Can I ask you a personal question, Haru?” His heart starts beating faster when he hears the nickname. He sits up and throws away the butt of the cigarette.

“Sure. What is it?”

“How did you get those scars?” You take another hit from the blunt and move closer to Sanzu. When your shoulders touch, you lower your body slightly and put your head on his shoulder. “You don’t have to answer if you don’t wanna. I respect you and care about you. I don’t wanna be the reason why you’re uncomfortable.”

If it were anybody else, Sanzu would’ve beaten them up until they were unconscious for asking that question. No one, other than the three people that were there with him on that terrible day, knew how or why he had those scars on his face. Sometimes he wondered if taking off the mask Mucho gave him was a mistake. It did hide them and less people stared at him whenever he would try to do normal daily tasks.

“You’re tense. ‘M sorry, Haru. It’s my fault.” With your free hand you start playing with his hair. Sanzu hesitantly raises his own hand and slowly takes the blunt from between your lips and brings it near his mouth. He inhaled the smoke and you couldn’t do anything else other than stare at his pretty face, while he was exhaling it.

“Mikey.” He whispers. You raise a brow and move your head away from his shoulder. Sanzu let’s out a disappointed whine as you do that. “All I can and want to say, is that it was Mikey.” He can see the confusion paint your face. Then shock. Hurt. And lastly anger. Though you understand that it’s not your place to tell Sanzu to leave that son of a bitch named Mikey and run away with you. “I regret a lot of things in life y’know?” He slightly changes the topic of the conversation.

“Yeah?” You look back at the stars. “Like what?” You hear a sigh leave his lips.

“A lot of things I can’t even talk about. My family. Mikey. Mucho. You.” He let’s out a shaky breath and looks at you. He was looking at you like he was trying to remember every single detail about you and your body.

“Mucho?” You let out a surprised squeal. “Man I don’t remember the last time I heard his name.. It’s sad. He was a great guy. I wonder who did that to him.” You tilt your head to the side and look back at Sanzu. “Also me? What do you regret about me?”

“Meeting you.” His answer made your heart hurt. “You.. Shit. You do things to me. I hate it.” He throws the blunt he was holding to the side and grabs your face. “Fuck you, (Y/N).” He brings your face closer to him and his lips meet yours.

♡A lot of people thought he was hot and tried to get a date with him, but failed. There were rumours that he was asexual, aromantic. Some people thought that he might have a significant other that goes to another school.

♡But he was actually just into you and didn’t know how to confess. You were this artsy person who wasn’t dumb, but wasn’t the smartest either. Rindou always thought you were cute and you two actually sat together in some classes. That’s how he got to know you.

♡After he confessed and you two started dating, EVERYONE was talking about it. It was a surprise that someone managed to date with the younger Haitani. People would turn heads to look at you two when you’d enter the school halls together, holding each other’s hands.

You two were stuck together ever since you were kids. It’s like you were glued one to another and everyone knew that if one of you was somewhere the other was nearby. It was always Mitsuya and (Y/N) and always will be. Even after Mitsuya met Draken, after he joined Toman and changed as a person. He still stuck by you. Thought as years went by Mistuya realised what he felt for you wasn’t just a typical friend bond.

Mitsuya walks towards the house where the party was happening and the moment he opens the door the music gets louder and he feels as if he stepped into another reality. All of the yelling from different people blend into one sound and he tries to push it away and concentrate on the music playing in the background. But his eyes were looking around to see one person that he came here for. And as he took in his surroundings a familiar face could be seen in a corner. Mitsuya’s lips turn upwards and he smiles to himself being glad that it didn’t take too long to find you. Thought as he walked closer he noticed you weren’t alone, you were laughing with someone else. With another guy.

And then Mitsuya suddenly stops in his tracks. And as he looks at you two he feels his thoughts slowly form into a hurricane as his stomach turns and he feels like he’s slowly losing grip from reality.

“Why do I feel like this?” He mumbles to himself.

He has seen you hanging around with plenty of guys and it was never a problem to him. Maybe because they were all Toman members and knew how close you two were? He doesn’t know. He doesn’t fully understand why he feels the ugly emotions he’s feeling now. After all you were his friend.

Ah. Maybe that’s the issue. He’s just looking out after his friend. He doesn’t know if the guy you are talking to has pure intentions with you. You were like his sister.

So he decides to look at you two for a while. You seemed happy talking to the guy. Leaning forwards to him as you laugh at his joke. And the guy gives you a look. Mitsuya knows that look.

He wants to kiss you.

And before Mitsuya can even stop himself he marches up to the two of you and grabs you by the hand. And before you can even react, he has already dragged you outside and you stood near his motorcycle. Mitsuya’s breaths were uneven as his hands now were formed into fists and his knuckles were turning white.

You stood still a bit confused as you looked at a Mitsuya you have never seen before. The weather was a bit chilly and the wind caressed the skin of your bare arms. Then suddenly the reality of the situation hits you and you step closer to Mitsuya.

“What the hell was that, huh?” You ask him with a bit of spite in your voice.

“What was what?” He rolls his eyes as he glances at your figure.

“Mitsuya. Why did you do that?”

And he stops in his tracks. What does he say now? Why did he do it? It felt like at that moment he couldn’t control himself and he just did what his body and mind wanted to do at that moment. What he felt was right. But how does he tell you that without sounding like a complete weirdo? His heart starts beating faster than ever and now thoughts start flooding his mind. Will you hate him for this? Will you two get into a fight? Will you not talk to him for a while? What if he loses you? He cannot tell you the truth.

But his thoughts stop when he feels someone shaking him lightly.

“Taka, snap out of it.” You softly say as you see him gather himself and stand straight again.

“Let’s go for a ride, (Y/N).” He suggests but you cut it short.

“No. We have to talk. What is happening?”

And you see him collecting his thoughts while he tries to speak up. His lips part open for a second and then he closes them. It feels like time slowed down while Mitsuya tries to spit the words out. But it feels like there’s a clump of dirt in his throat getting bigger than ever and for a second Mitsuya looks like a kid again. Lost and afraid, not knowing if he’s going down the right path. You take his hand into yours and with your thumb start drawing circles on his palm, trying to calm him down.

“Don’t hate me after this.” He mumbles.

“I won’t. I could never hate you, Taka.” You softly smile at him.

He needed you now, you think. More than ever. Maybe something happened at home? Maybe there were problems with the gang? Maybe-

“I got jealous.”

Oh?

“Why?” You tilt your head and he thinks you couldn’t look prettier. The moonlight shines on your face and makes it look even more angelic than ever.

“I.. (Y/N). I like you.”

“I like you too, Taka.”

“No. You don’t get it. I like you more than a friend. (Y/N) I got jealous because I want you to laugh at my jokes. I want to be the one to make you smile and I want you to look at me. It made me mad that that guy was getting your full attention and-“ he suddenly stops and his eyes get wider. “I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry, I spoke too much didn’t I?” He moves his hand away from yours and tries to sit down on his bike, but before he can do that he feels your arms snake around his torso.

“Mitsuya Takashi. You’re a complete idiot.” You whisper. “I see only you. I love you.”

He turns around and you see the shock in his eyes. He puts his hand on your cheek and stares deeply into your eyes before asking.

There was always an almost with you and Geto.

Almost holding his hand.

The first year of Jujutsu Tech was interesting to say the least. Getting out of your comfort zone and meeting new people you would spend a lifetime with. It was all so sudden. You left your clan, your family behind and started a new life there.

Though after a while you managed to settle down. Your three classmates Shoko, Gojo and Geto were nice to be with. Shoko was calmer than the two and you formed a nice friendship with her faster than with them. She was there from day one, with a friendly smile on her face and a cigarette hanging between her lips.

The smell of cigarettes felt calming after a while. You always knew it was her walking around the corner and it felt comforting.

Geto and Gojo became your good friends a bit later on in the first year. As douchey as they were they understood that you needed time to feel comfortable around them and they respected that. They gave you personal space until you started talking with them more, going on missions together and coming back with tears in your eyes from all of the laughter.

It felt good. In those moments you almost forgot how much you actually missed home. Soon enough these three people became your second family.

And now as you lay on the grassy field at 3AM with Geto next to you, it feels right.

“Couldn’t sleep?” He turns his face to look at you. And as you do the same you think how angelic he truly looked. He was the opposite from Gojo, who had plenty of girls following him around and feeding into his already big ego, but you never really understood why. In your eyes Geto was the best looking guy you’ve seen. His now messy hair is free from the hair tie that always keeps his hair in place. It falls on his face framing it in a way that makes him look like a painting. His dark eyes meet yours as he awaits for your answer.

“Mhm..” you hum and give him a soft smile. “It’s a rough night.” you whisper. “The mission today sucked out my energy, but I just can’t stop thinking about the kids who died in front of our eyes. We almost saved them..” a frown etches onto your face as you sigh. “When I close my eyes that’s all I see.”

Geto shuffles closer to you and your hands touch.

“It’s not your fault.” He calmly states. “It’s life, (L/N). We’re trying to make it better, but you have to remember that we can’t save everyone.”

His hand tries to reach your palm, hold it in his bigger one, but before he can do that..

“Hey, guys!” Gojo’s annoying voice screeches. “You should’ve told me you’re having a slumber party or something.”

When he almost asked you out.

Geto was pacing around his dorm room. His hair is in a messy bun, he’s slightly irritated and you can tell by the way his eyebrows are slightly arched. He has a mean look on him and Gojo is confused as he has never seen his friend like that.

At first the white haired male doesn’t want to interfere as his friend looked out of it. ‘It’s like his whole family died’ he thinks as he keeps staring at Geto.

“Just calm down.” Gojo grins. “I’m sure everything will be fine. She likes you back for sure, dude. The way she looks at you? Like you hung the moon and the stars. Just believe in yourself, Suguru.”

“You don’t understand, Satoru. She’s different. I don’t want to ruin whatever we have.” His pace becomes faster. “I really care about her. I want her in my future. But what if she doesn’t see me like that? I can’t imagine losing her.” He frowns.

Gojo groans and stands up from Geto’s bed. He walks up to his friend and puts a hand on his shoulder and squeezes it in reassurance.

“She likes you. You just have to calm down.” Gojo smiles warmly at his friend, supporting him. “I can see it with all of my eyes.”

Geto hits Gojo’s shoulder and both of them laugh. It doesn’t feel tense anymore.

Though no matter how long Gojo stayed in his room, Geto never got the courage to ask you out. Especially not after he saw you through his window. Laughing at what Nanami said.

When he almost kissed you.

“Ugh.” Geto groans as he looks at his notepad, slowly losing his hope to understand the subject. “This is bullshit.” He throws the pen on the table and rubs his eyes in frustration.

“You think?” You sarcastically roll your eyes while trying to comprehend what you were even reading right now.

“We’re failing this, (L/N).” He sighs and closes his notepad, putting it back in his bag. “I’m done with this. I don’t care anymore. Literally could give less of a shit.”

“I get it.” You smirk and stretch also giving up on understanding the topic of math. “It’s like this isn’t even real. Who created this theory?”

Geto stands up from the chair that he was sitting on and walks towards where you were seated on the carpet in the middle of your dorm room.

“Wanna do something else?” He raises a brow. “Like.. Watch a movie?”

“I don’t have any new ones.” You answer him quickly. “Unless you want to rewatch the same old five cassette tapes I have.” You say already knowing his answer. He lets out a huff and falls into your bed groaning mumbling something about how boring it is.

You grin and stand up shuffling towards the bed and fall onto his body and he gasps as he feels the weight of someone else’s body on top of his. He starts whining and you start laughing. The room erupts with noises as he starts an argument that you’re not even participating in. It feels fresh. It feels like spring when nature is reborn again. It feels warm and inviting.

As the laughs die down you to lay next to each other, looking at each other’s faces and studying them. He smiles at you softly noticing how your cheeks are dusted in pink. He reaches out and softly, as if you were made out of glass, he follows your features with his thumb. As if he was trying to remember how your face felt. It felt like he was an artist and you were the art.

He let’s out a noice of satisfaction and his grin gets bigger. He slowly starts to inch towards your face. You look into his eyes, feeling like your heart will soon jump out of your chest. Your lips are millimetres apart, but before they can collide, loud noises can be heard from the outside.

You two jump off of the bed in a rush.

Someone was attacking Jujutsu Tech.

When he almost..

Your heart is breaking. It was stupid. So so stupid. Your hands reach into your hair and you swear you could pull everything out. Your skin felt itchy and your stomach felt like it had butterflies trying to dig their way out.

It was crushing you. Your whole life you knew and had fell apart in a few hours. As you laid in your bed, holding yourself, trying to keep yourself from falling apart, your window opens.

You don’t even need to lift your head up to know who it was.

“I’m sorry.” Were the first words you heard. “I wish things could be different.” He keeps on talking, while you stay quiet. Only broken sobs were heard from your laying body. “In another life we will be married and raising five children.” Suguru laughs bitterly, walking up to your bed. He sits down next to you and takes you in his arms. He wipes away your tears. "But the world we live in now, isn’t so kind to people like us."

“Five kids with you doesn’t sound so bad..” you whisper in tears “I hope that’s true.. And that in another lifetime things are different.”

Suguru lets out a soft chuckle, looking into your eyes. “Of course it’s true. I’m sure one of them will look just like me.” He gives you a warm embrace, feeling your tears on his chest. “Please don’t cry (Y/N), you’re making my heart ache.”

“You’re the one to say that.” Your voice breaks. “Why.. why are you choosing that path?”

“(Y/N)..” he hugs you tightly as if he always wants to remember the feeling of you laying on his chest. “Our paths are way too different. I’m sure you’ll find all of the answers on your own.” He smiles. “I can’t stay for long. They’re looking for me already.” Suguru leans in and for the first time your lips touch. Though rather than giving you joy it felt like he was taking everything away from you. It was melodramatic. He came to say goodbye and took your heart with him. “I’m sorry.” He whispers and before you can do anything, he leaves. And as you lay in bed you realised that not only did he take your heart he also took away the warmth of summer and spring and left you alone with the coldness of winter.

As he leaves the grounds of Jujutsu Tech he stops for a second and looks back. With a sigh he turns around and leaves.

Kokonoi finished his fifth glass of liquor and took a look at his surroundings. His head was feeling fuzzy and he was starting to feel a little sick. He was never really a fan of alcohol, since it was a distraction from his main goal in life - money. He had to be sober and levelheaded to get as much as possible. But this time it was different. He ruined the best thing in his life and now he was drowning in his thoughts, hoping to come up with a solution to fix his problem.

Just last week he raised his voice at you, but that wasn’t the worst part. All of the anger and stress that built up from Kanto Manji problems made him blind and he let out all of his dark emotions on you. And you just stood there and listened. It wasn’t the first time and you knew it wouldn’t be the last. So without a word you went into his room and took all of your belongings, putting them in a bag.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Kokonoi punched the bedroom wall. His heart was beating extremely fast and he didn’t know what to do.

“What I should’ve done a long time ago.”

And now all he could do was take a picture of a random person and hope that you at least get jealous and decide to text or call him.

Mikey was lost in his own head. He didn’t feel any emotions anymore, numb to everything and everyone. In the moment he felt like it was the best choice for the both of you. When you came back and saw everything you just shook your head and left with everything that you had. You knew this relationship wouldn’t work for too long. Now Mikey sat in the meeting room and stared at the wall in front of him. Once again lost in his own thoughts. But this time they were all about you. He missed you. He needed you by his side. But as much as his hands itched to grab the phone and call you, he still knew that this was for the best. At the end of the day he only caused you pain and put you in danger.

Wakasa Imaushi

Wakasa’s head was in his hands. There were bottles of alcohol laying around his living room and Benkei was sitting near him, letting out a displeased sigh. Ever since the day he decided to betray Senju and join Kanto Manji Gang, you hadn’t spoken to him. Benkei couldn’t blame you and neither could Wakasa. The both of them knew how much Senju meant to you. She was like your kid. You were the first one to get your Brahman uniform, because Senju cherished you so much. Wakasa tried to get another can of beer, but Benkei stopped him.

“This isn’t going to help you, y’know?”

Wakasa thinks about the day you left. How heartbroken you looked even though you tried to hide your pain. But the glow and pain in your eyes showed different. You called him a lot of different names, pointing a finger at him and calling him a disgusting monster, telling him how he fucked up by losing your trust. And he knew it was true. Earning your trust was a difficult task. And he couldn’t believe that he actually managed to break the bond that the two of you had. You were and still are his world. And to you he’s just a memory.

Benkei was a family guy. He dreamt of having a big family, wether it was by adopting or having his own kids. And he always dreamt about that future with you by his side. But that changed after he joined Kanto. The gang was way different that all of the gangs he has been in before. Except his own. The old Benkei was coming back and he knew it himself. You knew it. Everyone knew it. The blood on his hands and face was a clear sigh of it. And that caused a lot of problems in your relationship. He became cold and distant, making Kanto his priority. After the sixth fight between the two of you in the same week, you packed your bags and left him. The both of you were tired and being together only made it worse. You said that this would only be a break. That you needed to be alone for a while. But Benkei knew the truth. You weren’t coming back.

Shion was enjoying himself after the breakup. He went to clubs with the Haitani brothers and Hanma, he did random drugs people gave him, he had one night stands. It was fun at first, doing everything he thought about doing while in a relationship with you. He was free, no one was stopping him from anything. He didn’t have to message you or call you, he didn’t need to see your angry face when he came back late, or missed a date. But after a while it got lonely. He had everything he ever wanted, but there was no you in sight. He missed the feeling of your arms around him, he missed how worried you always were when he came back home bruised and bloodied.

And while there was a person laying next to him after another one night stand it all seemed so dark and quiet. He turned his head to the side and took in the features of their face. They were similar to you. Not exactly the same, because no one could ever be you. But right now it was enough. And then something clicked in his brain. He’ll never have you again.

You were with him when he was beat up by South and had to join his gang and you were there when he joined Kanto. No matter how many stupid and dangerous mistakes he made, you were always there. You extended a helping hand towards him with the biggest smile on your face. But he was so lost in the gang life, he didn’t see how he never really did the same to you. He always left you hanging. And now he couldn’t turn back time and change the things he did. How cold he treated you. A few tears run down his face and he hopes you can forgive him. He knows you won’t take him back, but he still wants you to know that he only wishes the best for you.

Mocchi was always known as a scary guy. His build and height increased the fear for other’s. But he never scared you.
