The Man in Noir

Dean x Castiel

Prompt: Noir

Warnings: Castiel is head over heels for this man, mentions of Saileen, drinking, gays right (I'm pretty sure gay rights weren't a thing back then) but I'mma make it that way...

Dean, Sam and Eileen were heading out for a night in the town, after a stressful day in their jobs...

They walk into the bar and grab a table for themselves, and got one to two bottles of their finest whiskey...

While they were drinking and talking about their days, Dean looks over to see a man in a noir suit in the corner...

The man is caught by Dean, causing him to look away, making Dean smile softly...

Dean looks towards Sam and Eileen talking to each other, then gets up and heads over to the man, drink in his hand...

"Hey..." Dean greets politely...

"H-Hi..."

"The names Dean, Dean Winchester..."

"Castiel, Castiel Novak. I couldn't help but notice when you walk in..."

Dean smiles, "You look like a dreamboat, you're very handsome..."

"Thank you, you're a dreamboat yourself, Cas..."

Castiel blushed at the nickname, and smiles...

"How about you come meet my family?"

"Sure..." Castiel smiles, and they both walk back over to Sam and Eileen...

"Sam, Eileen...meet Castiel Novak..." Castiel waves a bit shyly...

"Nice to meet you, please come join us..." Castiel nods and smiles, and sits next to Dean...

Dean smiles and gently puts his hand around Cas' shoulder, Cas blushes then kind of leans into Dean's side, then they all talk about one another, so that Cas knows everyone better...

At then end, Cas got to meet the family, and they all liked him and had a good time...

Dean and Cas fell head over heels over each other, and held hands while making their way to their homes, Cas went on his own way, and surprisingly, they live in the same neighborhood a few houses away from one another...

In the future they'll eventually start dating, and get married 5-6 years later...

Today wasn’t great. I’ve got a panic attack in class because I’m anxious about passing my test next week and in addition to not being able to sleep properly for weeks now my IBS is acting up so that I physically feel like I was hit by a truck.

I just got a postcard from a friend who wrote me that they’re proud of me for studying so much and now I feel even worse because I feel like I’m lying. I’m not studying much, if I manage to do my homework, attend my 3 tutoring lessons a week and study vocs for 10 minutes daily that’s much for me already.

I really don’t study much because everything is so damn exhausting and to hear praise about my hard work makes me just feel like a fraud because it’s simply not true that I’m studying much.

But I also know that I’m dealing with a chronic illness and depression right now, so even when I do what would be the bare minimum for others, that’s hard work for me. I just hope it will be enough to pass this class.

What helped me through this day though is spn and this wonderful fandom. Y’all are so full of love and all your wonderful art helps distracting me from the pain I’m in. I love y’all idjits💛
