Halloween philosophical analysis

Halloween can be fun for sure, but sometimes it seems like people are straight-up celebrating death and gore.

History is a horror-story, Halloween could easily take a sombre educational approach. But displaying gore and fake graveyards is just depressing if you know anything about how the world works.

People torture each other, people maim each other. people can be sadistic. Anything gory could fit right in with the truth of what some people have gone through in real life.

There are plenty of horrifying things that nature has gifted us that we can celebrate such as killer insects, plants and animals that are unpleasant and scary. plus, there's tons of awesome fictitious horror that doesn't have to be just corpses strewn everywhere.

Good VS Evil, what does that mean?

If you know me, you may have heard me say before that I believe that evil is synonymous with immaturity. No one in their right mind would hurt other people. Evil is caused by many things such as ignorance, greed, misunderstanding, or it can create pitfalls that other people fall into.

If you look at a small scale, High School drama for example, you see young people get themselves stuck in problems that there isn't really a good solution to get out of. These are the kinds of problems that they would have never have gotten into if they were a little more experienced as well. On a larger scale, you can see all sorts of unsolvable problems globally that humans get ourselves into.

Sometimes today it seems as though our society doesn't properly facilitate mental growth causing people in charge to be immature in deathly serious situations.

Good, on the other hand, is logical. However, it's not intuitive. Just like how math requires logical analysis and problem-solving skills to find an answer, having good morals is very similar. Good morals is a logic problem, that we learn to solve the more we grow.

One of my favourite examples of Good being logical, is how empathy is presented in Game-Theory as the most self-beneficial course of action in strategy towards both your partners and opponents.

pro-choice vs pro-life, my opinion makes no one happy.

First, let's take a step back to analyze the core component of each argument. It seems to me to be a simple difference in priorities:

- Pro-Choice prioritizes the freedoms of the mother.

- Pro-Life prioritizes the freedoms of the child

Pro-Choice people can and should believe that abortion is ending a human life. You will never convince me that an unborn baby isn't a human life. While pro-life concerns are valid, You cannot have the physical freedom that the majority of our democracy wants without abortion, and i don't see our society going back to our previous morals, no matter your opinion about them. Saying that Abortion should be illegal is tyrannical and delusional. abortion is an entirely personal choice and I would never call anyone a murderer for it.

My class: has a discussion prompt asking if we think one of four possible topics is moral or immoral and, if immoral, should it be illegal. One of the topics is abortion.

Jacob Portman is a guy who can see monsters that no one else can see and lives in a world that half of humans on earth don't know about. The other half of people are part of the secret world and keep it a secret.

Bill cipher is an evil triangular demon with a chaotic sense of humor. It is the sensation of adult cartoon humor leaking into and confined by a childrens' show. Bill gets creative with all the deranged jokes he can make that aren't cheap adult jokes.
