Si chiamano paste di mandorla e sono una variante dei "ricci" di mandorle, quei biscotti che al centro hanno una ciliegia candita. In Sicilia vengono preparati durante tutto l'anno e possono essere conservati (a temperatura ambiente) all'interno di una scatola di latta per svariati giorni, senza che perdano il loro meraviglioso aroma.
