You are sitting in a giant's lap whilst watching a movie and you look up.

Most of the time, you forget how massive your friend is until times like this, when you feel like a speck in comparison. Every sound they make echoes. Every breath is visible, every tiny movement. They are a living landmass and you are at their mercy.

But before any sense of inferiority or instinctive fear can settle in, your friend glances down at you and smiles. It's not the patronizing smile of an owner to a pet but one of genuine fondness for an equal.

You smile back, shoulders relaxing and scoot back against their belly and get cozy again, their hand rested gently over your legs like a blanket.
