How Do You Deal With Fits Of Rage With ADD/ADHD? I'm Managing For The Most Part, But I've Found Myself

How do you deal with fits of rage with ADD/ADHD? I'm managing for the most part, but I've found myself being so much more aggressive than NTs in certain situations, and sometimes that anger and aggression isn't even really justified. This happens mostly at work as well. Any insights? Am I in the right to even blame ADD, or is it something else entirely that gets me agitated so quickly?

oh i get major anger issues. part of me actually uses that anger as fuel LOL but when it’s too much this is what i do:

• ill watch something to distract me

• HAVE CHEAP ITEMS YOU CAN THROW AND BREAK PLEASE I HAVE THROWN MY PHONE BEFORE DO NOT BE ME.

• get a stress ball / smth u can squeeze

• write down your feelings in a maliciously worded letter then shred it and continue on with your day

• do not talk to your friends during a flare up of rage if you know you are going to be pissy i am begging you all to not do this 

• don’t punch the wall, you’ll hurt your hand. if you must punch something, punch like….a pillow? i guess?

it’s mostly just getting used to it and holding it in which kind of sucks ass but that’s … yeah. that’s really all the advice i got on this ‘cause i’m still figuring it out myself. followers feel free to chime in!!

This is my last project so far this year. I wanted to show some tribute to Percy Jackson series once I finished reading all the books (the story fascinated me more and more, I was reading and at the same time thinking "Woah, this part could be a great poster!”), and I really intended to create a poster for each one of the seven and even a few more (I don’t like HOO that much, tho, only a few characters), but then I saw a painful spoiler. I’m serious: when I saw that that character died I lost my whole inspiration and all my motivation! Suddenly this project became something exhausting for me. So finally, after months, I’m posting this cause I decided I’ll no longer move forward with this project. But I really love these and I hope you guys enjoy it too! 

Every few months, someone with more money and fame than knowledge spouts off a Grand Plan to leave Earth for somewhere else to escape our problems. And everyone who has dealt with the complexity of dynamic systems heaves an enormous sigh.

We can’t even create a stable sealed biome on Earth, where we’re operating within the geomagnetic field at standard temperature & pressure.

It’s the simplest version of a faked environment, yet we repeatedly fail. We don’t even bother pretending the space station is independent.

How exactly do we expect to successfully terraform another world to be Earthling-friendly when we’ve made our planet less hospitable?

We didn’t maintain Earth’s climate & we’re failing to correct back despite it getting noticeably less pleasant. We’re un-terraforming Terra.

If your dream is humans scattered across the planets & that’s what inspires you: Cool. Great. Love it, and you can push that dream forward with sustainability on Earth. Space requires intense reduce/reuse/recycle & green tech. Help us pass on Easy Mode so we can up the challenge.

In space, yesterday’s coffee is tomorrow’s coffee. If we don’t have that level of sustainability, we don’t have a shot of moving beyond Easy Mode.

Yes, the planet will survive our shenanigans. But people are substantially less hardy than rocks. Our survival depends on what we do. We can be smarter than algae, or we can follow the path of stromatolites. It’s our choice.

And this idolization of recreating company towns, but in space, where the boss controls the air supply? That’s a low-hanging fruit of dystopia. We don’t even need to look at labour history to recognize what a bad idea that is.
