For days, Dorothea wallowed in self-pity and fear. Her husband was coming home tomorrow just in time for their son's birthday. She was so sure that Delilah had snitched on her, so she hadn't called or messaged him.

For the first time in years, Dorothea was afraid.

Yet he said nothing but words of love and affirmation to her. Does that mean he knows nothing? Or did he know but he simply refused to confront it?

For now, she kept mum and watched as he played with Bella. It wasn't the time for that. For now, it was time to celebrate Edel's birthday.

just my thoughts:

I've been wanting to post this for a while now, but I couldn't find the time until now (and i'm posting it now because I've been hoarding screenshots and it's taking up so much space and also because i won't have time to play so why not post the screenshots that i already have?). I started this challenge simultaneously with Crybaby Whims, but I had to finish the Rose generation first because I was using Kuttoe's Career Overhaul to increase the difficulty of the Politician career and I didn't want to go through that again with Crybaby Whims (NSB was more gameplay-based rather than story-based so I like the challenge but not for Crybaby Whims). I'm not abandoning Crybaby Whims though, but I'll be posting a lot more NSB content. School is starting again next week, so I don't think I'll be playing a lot.

also, i'm using cilkey's simstagram template (and i'm overusing it tbh but i like it). i'm also using Fleuralia's save file.

Wow Delilah really made me feel bad for her even tho she literally kissed somebody's boyfriend when she and Dorothea were younger. I have a feeling that the truth will be more unraveling for everybody involved

I guess, for Delilah, that seemed like an insignificant issue compared to what Dorothea was doing, which is why she was practically in tears when she stormed in and argued with her.
