Hey there! This is just a place for me and my autistic brain to share and appreciate stuff about my biggest interests and hyperfixations; these will usually be FNAF and Rise of the TMNT, but others will occasionally show up if I remember to or feel like posting. I'm new to this whole actually having a social media account thing, but maybe it won't be so bad. Age: None of your business; Gender: Nonbinary/genderfaer/jellogender; Orientation: Aromantic/demi-fictoromantic, asexual/demi-fictosexual. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. :)

Me annoying my brother with my latest hyperfixation
EVERY time Leo makes a pun.

@powerauerart I'm looking at you...

i can’t find words for my anger right now so here’s a collection of thoughts that share the sentiment
Mini Brands did a line of TMNT miniatures and i of course had to get them lol

so tiny and cute
but look at what they did to my boy

donnie your brows should go down to meet your eyes not the other way around
i also have the action figures i plan to modify....

"don't talk to me or my son ever again"
they're so ugly together i'm crying perfect
You know, I was visiting with one of my aunts last week, and she said that the current political climate (especially the Free Palestine protests) reminded her of 1968. Specifically of 1968. She might have been referring to this particular event.
She was born in the early 1950s, so she would have been in the right age range to be aware of/active in the anti-Vietnam War protests. I'm leaning toward "active participant" since her oldest brother (my late uncle) was sent overseas for the conflict (he made it home safely, but Camp Lejeune may have played a role in his eventual illness and death), but I'd have to ask to make sure.
I'll have to ask for more of her perspective the next time I see her, and remember to mention Columbia. It's interesting (if often overwhelming and disheartening) to see how historical trends repeat and change over time.
Let's hope we come out of this tumultuous time with major changes for the better.

you can taste the fucking irony
I just woke up from a nap, and man do I wish my dream was real. It was about a new entry in the New Super Mario Bros. series, but there were some things about it that deviated from the formula:
You could play as Peach or Bowser Jr. in addition to the mainstays. If you played as Peach in single-player mode, you had to rescue Mario. Bowser Jr. was an "easy-ish" sort of character. He could randomly obtain power-ups from defeating bad guys, but otherwise, he played just like the normal characters.
The Super Bell from Super Mario 3D World was there, as well as a Poison Mushroom power-up. You could also stack two power-ups and use both of their effects at the same time.
There was a World 4 mid-game "boss fight" against Bowser, but it was more like a platforming level where you just have to hit him a few times at the end. Think "The Great Tower of Bowser Land" from Super Mario 3D World. There was also a mid-level shift from 2D to 3D movement. Temperature was a major mechanic; you took damage if you landed on a platform that was too hot, with water periodically cooling them down.
Iggy Koopa's mid-boss fight in World 6 (yes, World 6 and not World 5) was downright chaotic in the best way possible. It was the only level to utilize full 3D movement the whole time. Iggy would circle the boss arena in a mine cart on a wooden track, laughing maniacally, and you'd have to chase him down to hit him. After the first hit, parts of the track would periodically become electrified so you couldn't just linger there and wait for him. If the timer ran down to 100 seconds or you landed the second hit, the arena (minus the cart track) would give way to a huge pit of lava. Some kind of huge lava monster resided in this pit and would follow you, trying to grab you.
That's as far as I got before I woke up. There would certainly need to be some changes to make all this into a viable game, but hey, not bad for a dream.
