Euroscepticism and its correlation with one's awareness of EU, political views and nationality
Hello. In our school, we are making an authentic assignment on the topic of euroscepticism. This survey is the main part of our project, hence i would like to ask you to fill it out for me. Your answers will be used exclusively for the assignment.
Thank you so much for your help with our project!
Find the survey here:
(p.s the buttons at the end of the pages are in slovene language, however the blue button means "next page" so please click that one)
In Germany we don’t say “I don’t care” we say “Das ist mir Wurst” which roughly translates as “This is sausage to me” I think that’s beautiful.

first day of online class!

Decided to do a little dark academia theme this week! How are y’all doing in self isolation?

When the whole world is quarantined, but you’re a med student and you have to study embryology.
Book is “The Developing Human” by Moore, Persaud. Picture is of a two-week-old human embryo.

- A book about arts and cultural policies in Singapore + my notes
.
hey y'all! I've been extremely AWOL but since Singapore just started the circuit breaker period recently, I figured it's a great time to get back to this account and work on my productivity! I did an online ballet class, organized my sock drawer, read an essay from the above book, and did some work from home!🌟

💫Thu💫 - How are you keeping active?
Workouts mostly. Pamela Reif is a really good fitness instagramer / youtuber btw. I can really recommend her workouts, since I have been doing them for quite a while now.
one time a stranger on neopets years ago told me “school makes you think you have to be good at everything but sometimes it’s ok to just be good at one thing. even if it’s not something you get a grade for. they don’t grade you for being a good person” and tbh i still think about it little did i know all i needed this whole time was in glowing purple text and that icon of the goth fairy

May 26th, 11:50 Quite a late start today, but it’s sunday and I definitely needed the extra sleep. Now I’m having some breakfast while I try to read on the influence of Japan on French art for my Contemporary Art exam that is coming up. Bonus: My cat staring into the void of existence.

Sat staring at your screen, thinking, “what the fuck?!”
… me too. It happens to the best of us. Here’s how I break the ice, and start the writing and researching process!
You’ve got this.

How to cope with reading mind numbing content:
1) Google that shit. Take the topic at hand and run it through the web- I always check out a YouTube video before I read, just so I have that invaluable base- level understanding of the topic that academics neglect.
2) Find, and read, the introductory paragraphs and conclusion. Often, academics will put some general concluding statements in their introductions: jot these down in shorthand form before progressing, and update these fundamental points as you proceed.
3) Set yourself a 30 minute timer to read through the body of the piece. Don’t fall into the trap of reading word by word, and writing copious notes. When I’m on autopilot and reading about something boring, I find myself writing great swathes of notes, often with word for word copying. Avoid this at all costs!
4) When the timer finishes, take a fresh piece of paper and jot down the crux of the argument. If you’ve got thoughts and are feeling fancy, jot down your own opinions and deductions alongside it. This is definitely something I need to remind myself to do more often.
5) Don’t overdo it. Read what you can, make sure you’ve got a solid understanding of the key ideas and attend class. Remember at the tertiary level what so many of us forget- that classes are still intended for learning, and not the show grounds for academic posturing they sometimes appear to be. Not every topic is going to be Your Thing, and that’s ok. Make the effort to read and research, ask questions, but do not punish yourself.

04.04.20 / Happy Saturday! Doing some readings this afternoon until late in the evening. I’m feeling very productive today. Hope you’re all safe and staying hydrated! ♡

🍑Wed🍑 - What’s your favourite study snack?
I don't think that I have one since I am not a person to snack while studying. Usually, I eat a big meal after I finish a study session or I eat lunch in between. If I do snack, which rarely ever happens, I tend to gravitate towards fruits and nuts. Overall, I will eat small and natural foods and not really any snacks per se. Sounds like I am super healthy, but, as you know, appearances are deceptive 😅.

💫Tue💫 - How are you being taught your lessons? (google classroom, teams etc.)
I don't really have any lessons atm. At the start of the quarantine my teachers emailed me all the assignments for the quarantine and now I am working on them, without the assistance of someone else. Event though I'm not a fan of how the things turned out, I think it could've still been worse. The tasks are a lot in number, but many of them are actually managable when it comes to the degree of difficulticy. Some of them on the other hand ...
