Chim And Maddie Say To Each Other That A Big Celebration Is Kinda Stupid For A Kid So Little That She
Chim and Maddie say to each other that a big celebration is kinda stupid for a kid so little that she won't even remember. But they did so because they want to plan a surprise party for the other!
So Chim asks for bobby and hen's help, while maddie asks for buck and josh's. It's only when buck asks bobby for a recipe that the two realize that there are two different party in planning, so they start to plan a third, and actually only, party
It's a big thing, they rent some place with a big garden, and bobby cooks, hen learns to do balloon animals (karen is the real artist), buck organizes games for kids and adults.
So the day comes and neither maddie nor chim know, but they're grinning so hard cause they both think they're tricking the other. Albert drives them and with a weak excuse takes them to the real party.
Bobby swears he never saw chim so happy.
Plus when chim asks him why a party so big, bobby says "we celebrate every little step, and this is the first of many"
This is the chaotic family drama I want! Tim, this is the kind of chaos we need please and thank you 😭
I love this idea - the thought of them being so pleased with themselves and then ending up being surprised 😭😭 my heart!

Imagine Eddie asking Bobby for cooking lessons. He’s vague about the request, just says that he wants to be better at cooking so Christopher doesn’t always ask for takeout. Bobby starts with the simple stuff which Eddie appreciates, but after two “lessons” he asks Bobby how to make a particular dish, one that everybody knows is Buck’s favorite. Bobby doesn’t say anything, but invites Eddie over to his house to teach him how to make it. Eddie pointedly ignores the knowing looks Bobby and Athena share the entire time.
A week later he calls Bobby in a panic because he’s overcooked the meat and undercooked the veggies, but it’s Athena that answers the phone because Bobby is asleep. She tells him to calm down and wait fifteen minutes before hanging up the phone without another word. He doesn’t calm down because Buck is supposed to arrive in 20 minutes.
A knock on the door 10 minutes later sends him spiraling and he throws the door open with a weird apology he hasn’t even thought through, but stops short at seeing Athena standing there holding a warm pizza from Buck’s favorite place with a knowing smirk on her face.
“You’re overthinking it,” Athena says, passing over the pizza. “Feed him junk food and tell him you love him.”
Omg, I love this haha! Of course Maddie would know The Mummy but not Die Hard.

“So, was that always something you wanted to do?” Chimney asked.
“Close.” Maddie shrugged. “I wanted to be Evelyn O’Connell.”
Chimney choked on his beer and gapped at her.
“Oh, so you don’t know Die Hard but you know The Mummy?”

And he was always around or taking Maddie to dinner or bringing Maddie dinner

Bobby lives the life of the unexpected. He lives the life of both Miracles and tragedies, has seen what type of magic and consequences a firefighter can both work and cause; he wouldn’t trade any of it for anything though...well, almost anything.
Bobby loves his job as a firefighter, he loves going out into the unknown everyday and getting to help families stay with each other, especially after he couldn’t keep his own family together in the end. Los Angeles was exactly the type of clean fresh air he needed to restart his life after living under a constant dark cloud for years. He can feel it even all this time later as he sits at the dinner table surrounded by something he never thought he would have again—a family, his family.
Bobby got a second chance to be married to another amazing woman and have kids running around the yard as he chased after them, and while it could never replace his life back in Minnesota, he is still grateful every single day for it. Really he should have had this life with his wife before and his own kids, and it will always be a mystery on why god caused him the pain he did, still does, because while he has a new life with a bunch of people he loves and who love him, it will never quite get rid of the gaping hole in his heart.
