After another long day at your shitty desk job as a secretary, you were on your way out when you get stopped by the department head.

“Hey Y/N, I’m glad I caught you!”

You inwardly groaned. All you wanted to do was to go home to your beautiful hybrid who you knew would no doubt whine about you coming home late. 1000 bucks says Mark was here to tell you that you would be delaying that peace a little longer.

“Mark please I am tired and I already worked two hours over today”

“Sorry Y/N. I have to stay too. We are expecting some big shot from the main branch and you and I get to personally oversee all things pertaining to him when he gets here. He’s gearing up to take over HQ as the new CEO”

“Oh my- No way.”

“Yup. Jackson Wang”

“Damn. well, he is super hot so I’m doing it for him, not you. When do we need what?” 

“He doesn’t get in till next week so we will have time to prepare. Just letting yo know you can pass on the DRASS project to Amaya.”

“What no way that project is mine, it’s literally all I’ve worked on for months-”

“And I know you were super excited to fly back to Kenya to help those people and see it through. I promise you will get full credit but We need this, trust me Jackson says he wants to pick his personal team from within the company. If we do well enough this will be the push we need and could select us as candidates.- You have a hybrid right? well, I have a family of five, and having extra money in the bank whether it’s just a bonus for this or a whole new position will help us both and you know it.”

“okay” You relented with a sigh taking the folder from his hands.

“You should rest up this weekend so that we can meet up a little early next week to go over what needs to get done and how we can prepare for everything.”

“so i can go home now?”

Mark chuckles and nods. “ Run along, give your boy a hug from me” Mark kisses your forehead as has been the norm and walks away with a small wave towards his own car.

Leaving the office you groan after seeing the traffic. It was going to be a slow crawl in the car for like an hour before you make it back home.

" Beansprout, get your ass down! The pegasus tribe is under attack! We have to do something!" You yelled as you ran to his cave.

Whitin minutes the great black dragon was down, and walking your way.

Let's go. He spoke, bending down as he passed by you so you could jump on his back.

" Joon's already on his way there, he went underground. Yoongi's waiting for us in the sky and Jungkook will wait for us at the border." You informed him.

Well then, what are we waiting for? Beansprout grumbled before kicking himself off the ground, directly up in the sky, reaching above the clouds.

" Let's go!" Yoongi yelled as you two neared.

" Come on, keep up grandpa!" You yelled as you raced by him.

" Show off." He grumbled to his black phoenix, who gave a scream in return.

He raced after you. The both of you flew for at least thirty minutes without speaking.

We're close. Beansprout informed you.

" We're close." You told yoongi, who nodded.

You went trough the clouds, eyes widening as you saw what horrors took place on the surface. Evil looking creatures were everywhere. 

" I'll go help Mark by the building over there. You go to the stables and save everyone there. Send them directly to the border." Yoongi yelled at you before diving towards the building.

" Well, here we go Beansprout." You mumbled as you went down landing on the ground and walking into the stables, Beansprout directly started to gas and burn down creatures who were trying to attack you.

" Everyone get out of here! Fly to the border of the Winter Mountains! You will be helped from there!" You yelled as Beansprout roared from outside.

You watched as everyone ran out, mounting their pegasus and running iut with their wings spread wide, a sign that they will fly as soon as they were able too.

" Miss! Please help us!" A voice called out to you.

You turned around and spotted a young man with his pegasus on the ground, a cut trough the animal's leg and wing. You ran over to them.

" What happened?" You asked.

" I-I don't know. We-we were trying to-to pro-protect-" He started.

" It's alright, we're gonna get you out of here. Both of you." You nidded to the animal.

The man smiled weakly at you before pointing at something behind you with a horrified look in his eyes.

" We-re-were-werewolf." He wishpered before screaming.

You turned around and got greeted by a  big dark grey werewolf, it's yellow eyes looking right at you. It growled before chariging at you. Your eyes widened before you drew your sword, ready to take it on. The werewolf jumped right at you as you avoided it, slipping in process and hitting your face against a sticking out piece of wood, creating a small scratch. It grunted as it hit the wall and you took a deep breath before running your fingers over your sword. As a dragon rider, you possesed the same type of powers your dragon did, meaning you had venom flowing trough your veins too. The werewolf charged again and this time you only stepped to the side, making sure your sword slit trough it's side. The beast roared as it turned around, knocking your sword out of your hand and throwing you to the ground. You avoided a few of his punches before he suddenly fell limp. With some trouble, you managed to move his body from yours while breathing heavily. You had just killed something. You didn't know how to feel about that.

" A-are you okay?" The man asked as you snapped out of your trance.

" Yes, sorry I spaced out. Anyway-" 

" Y/N! We're moving out! There's too many of them!" You heard Namjoon yell from outside as he bursted trough the door. 

" Got it!" You yelled back before whistling.

" Okay, so Beansprout can carry you with his claws, I know it's not comfortable but we have no other option." You told the pegasus who neighed.

Beansprout stormed in and spotted you.

" Carry her with your claws, she can't fly." You told him as you ran to his side with the man.

" Come on, you and I will be on his back." You told the man as he nodded.

Beansprout grunted and waited till you and the man were on his back. You pushed the man on his back before jumping on behind him.

" Let's go!" You yelled to Namjoon who nodded, his dragon releasing a scream as sign to retreat.

Beansprout sprung up, took a grip on the pegasus and flew out of the, what once were, stables.

The man in front of you started crying as he watched his home burn down.

" I'm sorry we couldn't defend it." You told him as you were now high up in the sky, surrounded by others of your tribe.

He sniffed, trying to stop his cries.

" Don't be ashamed to cry, I'm sure that I would've cried as well if my home was being ruined like this. Also, it's not good to keep emotions locked up." You said as you touched his back in a calming manner.

You looked behind you, seeing the dark colour of smoke from the fire rise above the clouds. Turns out this war was going to be heavier than expected.

[ A/N: Yes, I know. The story's on hold, but I etill wanted to release this chapter anyway.]
