I know it’s been said before but the fact that one of the most important parts of Hannibal’s story is centred around Hannibal not only accepting, but actively admiring and loving Will because of the things Will abhorred most in himself, that he found ugliest, the things he tried to cut away… it just makes me warm inside. It’s the kind of love i think we all want, for someone else to see our flaws and not only say “i accept you as you are” but “i love you more because of them”. and it’s in a literal cannibalism show…
