How would y’all feel if I started a comic about my personal experiences with adhd? It’s not a sure thing, but I’ve lowkey wanted to do a webcomic for a while now. Just trying to gauge interests.

–smells like depression: literally everything is too boring. i’m going back to sleep

Everyone needs their own signature look. Even if it’s ripped off from your favourite character from a film you like, maybe it’s just wearing the same coat you love till you wear it out completely, a favourite repetitive colour or a style from another era, perhaps a person you’ve read about, fiction or non-fiction, real or not has inspired you. The point is, we all need to find that special way of dressing ourselves that makes us feel like the main character of our own private novel.

Listen to kids talk about what they’re interested in. I’m 21 years of age, and I’m just now realising that I’m repressing myself due to childhood trauma. That was this EXACT thing.

It really says something about how society treats children that today I told a 13 year old I was proud of her hard work and she nearly cried into my shoulder.

tumblr loves defending mentally ill people with hyperfixations up until that person turns 18, then they’re just a creepy adult way too obsessed with a cartoon. lmao it’s not like hyperfixations go away once we become a legal adult.
