It Occurs To Me, As I Write Meta For Season 3, That The Treble Tones Vs New Directions Was Supposed To

It occurs to me, as I write meta for season 3, that the Treble Tones vs New Directions was supposed to be like a Civil War story.  It’s hard, though, to have a story like that when the glee club isn’t split down the middle, and only three members leave, and one is too nice to really have the Glee club split into factions. 

But could you imagine if there had been an actual Civil War story line in Glee – where the club /was/ split down the middle, and everyone was taking sides, and there were stakes and real emotions going on?  That would have been super interesting – especially in season 3, if it took them half the year to get it together so they could actually have a chance at winning Nationals.  

Could you imagine? Man…

“i just had this idea and had to share it with you guys!” - this has taken me three weeks and countless hours please love and appreciate it
