“Thank you,” the nurse, Rose, kindly smiles at you, taking the clipboard with the form you have just spent 10 minutes filling out, from your hands, “if you would just take as seat over there, I will come and get you in just a few minutes.”

“Perfect,” you reply and walk to the waiting area.

You take a seat in one of the empty chairs closest to the open windows that show a view of the lawn at the back of the building. It’s hot outside today, and the gentle breeze coming through the open space is a feeling you welcome! It cools you down and helps you relax further into the chair.

You always feel nervous to go to the gynecologist. And even though you have had the same doctor since the first time you ever went, you still get nervous.

You hate having to go to the gynecologist! It is not exactly the most comfortable position to be in; with your feet in the stirrups and your entire vagina on show for a stranger to look at and probe around in.

But you have to. You need to get a new prescription for your birth control pills and your doctor, Dr. Lui, mentioned that it would be a good idea to examine you first, since it has been awhile since your last appointment.

Desperately, you wanted to decline when she first made the suggestion, but deep down you knew she was right. You needed to get examined and better to get it over with than to keep putting it off for months like you knew you would in the end. Also, had you said no, she probably would not have given you a new prescription, and you need your birth control pills to keep you period pains at a somewhat tolerant level.

Also, you have slowly been going steady with the most drop dead gorgeous guy for the past few months, and if everything goes according to plan, you might end up needing the pills for an entirely different reason… wink wink.

You had planned this camping trip for forever. Everything was set, even the smallest detail was taken care of by you or one of your friends. Seokjin and Jimin were in charge of bringing the food and drinks. Jungkook declared himself as the official entertainment master, in short he will bring his guitar and sing something later. Namjoon and Hoseok went and bought a ten people tent one week after the trip was planned and like the good boy he is Taehyung purchased the most comfortable camping beds online. Which left you and Yoongi in charge of transportation, as the only two of people with cars in your friends group the decision was easy. 

Summer finally came and with it your long awaited camping trip in the countryside underneath the clear sky and with lots of mosquitoes to eat you alive. 

"Shit” Hoseok hisses as he slaps the tenth mosquito from his bite-covered arm, “how can we bring everything except insect repellent?" 

"Because we are idiots that’s why”, Taehyung states, scratching the newly bitten spot on his calve with vigor. 

“Just do it like me and you won’t get bitten”, Seokjin says proudly. 

You all look at him, breaking out into laughter. His feet are stuffed into big socks and thick sweatpants cover his legs. He is wearing a sweater, even going as far as having wrapped a scarf around his neck. There wasn’t an inch of skin of his not covered under layers of fabric, safe for his eyes and nose. 

“Sure and die of heatstroke. I think I’ll pass”, Jungkook laughs, shaking his head. 

“Laugh all you want at least I won’t have to complain about mosquito bites tomorrow”, Seokjin mumbles, clearly pouting even if you can’t see his mouth under the big scarf. 

“I’m honestly just waiting for a mosquito to bite your nose. That would be hilarious”, Jimin grins.

Seokjin rolls his eyes at him. "You guys are mean", he mumbles, pouting. 

“Hey we are just teasing you hyung”, Namjoon says, patting Seokjins knee.

The later hums a quiet approval.

“How about I give you my first s'more as a collective apology from me and the others?” Namjoon offers, holding up the sweet treat. 

Seokjins eyes light up and with one swift hand movement the s'more has changed owners, now having found a new home in Seokjins mouth. 

“Delicious. Apology accepted”, he says with his mouth still stuffed with cookie. 

“I have a nice s'more fact for you guys. No one really knows when and by whom s'mores were invented. The first mention of s'mores however was in 1927 in the magazine called-" 

Jimins thrilling story about the origin of s'mores soon fades out in your ears when Yoongi suddenly appears next to you. You are currently preparing some coffee a few feet away from the others when the pink haired man has decided to join you. 

He sits down on the empty folding chair next to you, empty can of beer in one hand and a roasted marshmallow on a stick in the other. 

"Hey”, he says shyly. 

“Hey”, you answer just as shyly.

“Okay, okay Y/n.” Jin shoots you a warning glare. He taps the screen to clear the order and start anew. “Maybe just stock the backroom until we’re done.” Jin turns his attention back to his student. “Jungkook, let’s try another.”
